Anything Could Happen

Ch. 8- I Forgot

I was getting my lunch money out of my locker and I was heading for the bathroom. I was walking down the hallway when I bumped into someone. I didn't know who until I realized it was Brandon. "Sorry." He said without even looking at my face. Brandon just kneeled down to help me pick up my single bills and the quarters scattered all over the floor. He then noticed it was me after Brandon heard me say "It's ok." He looked up at me and our eyes locked again. Our hands touched and this time he didn't lean over to kiss me because we were in school.  He just continued to help me pick up my money.

We stood up. "Hey, Keesha," There goes the lip biting again! "I was wondering if you wanted to sit by me at lunch right now?" He said. I hesitated. I had to meet Loren, Gabby, and Allyssa in the bathroom at lunch... The bell rang just now. I have to meet them now. 

"Sure." I said. Words came out of my mouth that weren't suppossed to. I'm sure my friends woould understand. I mean they can't stay in the bathrrom forever and I'm their best friend! Hopefull, they will understand this!!!

I sat with Brandon throughout lunch time. He is really funny, and has cheesy jokes. Like, one of them was, Why do birds fly South for the Winter? Answer- Because its too FAR to walk!!!  

I was dying at that joke. Lunch was over so quickly. I couldn't wait for tomorrow. I hope Ally, Gabby, and Loren wouldn't get mad at me...
