Ch. 5- Friends On My Case

We were by my house already. Brandon was standing there. He saw me go up the stairs and he followed. Brandon, Me, Yesha, and Xavier were all on my porch trying to say goodbye. Brandon put his hands in his pockets and he looked down at his shoes. I just stood there awkwardly staring at him. He looked up at me with a smirk that was the cutest thing ever! I didn't know what else to do besides biting my lip. He saw me do that and we started laughing because it was an awkward moment. 

He leaned over to me. I thought he was going to try to kiss me again but I knew he wouldn't do it with "kids" around. Instead, he leaned over to the side off my cheek and stopped at my ear. He whispered something in it.

"See ya in school tomorrow, pick ya up at 8 on Saturday." He turned around and walked down the stairs with his little bro. Me and Yesha walked inside the house and we each went into our rooms.

Without opening my eyes, I started to dance like a maniac. Still, I didn't have the nerve to open my eyes. I just flopped on my bed after dancing like an idiot for 2 min. Thank god no one saw that. I smelled something. My nose flinched. It smelled like old shoes or gross feet. I opened my eyes to see a foot right in front of my scrunched up face. 

I screamed looking shocked as ever and got up. I saw Ally, Loren, and Gabby sitting on my bed. (BTW: It was Gabby's foot) They were doing homework as if they were "expecting" me to be in my own house. 

"Why so happy, dear?" asked Loren twirling around in my desk top chair. She felt amused by it. 

"BRANDON J. MATTHEWS ASKED ME OUT ON A DATE!!!" I screamed frantically. I was super excited to see all of those surprised faces in my room! At this moment, I felt like the happiest girl in the whole school!!!! But, one person wasn't happy and that was Allyssa.

"Wait, so he just asked you out? All of a sudden? This is not right! Do you guys even know each other that much?" Ally exclaimed with all of these questions in my face. 

"Well, we were talking, and he almost leaned in to kiss me, but his brother, Xavier interrupted us. Yesha has a crush on Xavier and I think they are going out also..." I shot back at her, slowly saying the first part about the kiss. 

Ally clenched her fists and made her eyes wider. 

"Honey, you don't even know." She got interrupted by me.

"HIM! I knew what you were gonna say." I exclaimed and made a half smile.

"Nooooo.... I was going to say, You don't even know what YOU'RE GONNA WEAR!!!! WHEN IS THE DATE? WE HAVE TO GET YOU A DRESS!!! WE ARE GOING SHOPPING!!!! EEKKK! YAY!!!" Allyssa said very excitedly while jumping for joy.

Soon, we all started jumping like funny little idiots.

"Now... Tell me the details! Did he walk you home? Did he have a sense of humor? Is he kind? How did he ask you out? Were you shocked? How'd you feel? TELL ME ABOUT THE KISS THING!" They all said at the same time with all of these questions. 

"Okayyy....Relax guys.... OK, so it all started with.........."
