Another day was around the corner, Bonnie came back and decided to join us in our college adventure; and the mystery murder still lingers in our minds. "Olivia, are you sure that you wanna sleep on the couch?" Bonnie dropped her stuff down by the door, before she sat down next to me.
"Yeah, it's perfectly fine." I mumbled while I continued to sketch. "Is that...Kol?" Bonnie asked as she leaned in closer to see my drawing. I nodded my head, completely zoned out; trying to make this piece of work into something truly amazing. "It's so realistic. How'd you do it?" I glanced over to see that she was smiling.
"You know... I just do it." I shrugged while I started to fill in Kol's beautiful eyes...
"So apparently there's a dance, and we're all going!" Caroline bursted through our door with Elena at her side. "But-" I started before Elena cut me off, closing the door. "No buts! We're going! We're gonna find out what happened to that girl and what this secret society is up to."
I sighed and closed my giant sketch pad. "What happened to the fact that we were gonna stay out of this?" I walked over to the fridge before I pulled out a bottle of water. "Because we were there that night, and I happened to find a picture of my dad on her phone." Elena concluded, leaving me speechless.
"Alright, I'm in then." Bonnie stepped in, when both Care and Elena grew excited- turning to me for my decision. "Fine. I'm in." I groaned before we all piled into a hug.

I dipped my paint brush into the darkest color on the palette. "Hey Olivia, you going to the dance tonight?" Mentally, I rolled my eyes before I turned around to meet Trent. It was obvious, I knew what he wanted. "Yeah, why?" I lightly grazed the canvas with my brush, leaving an odd but lovely texture.
"I don't know, I was wondering if you and I could-" I clicked my tongue when I cut him off. "I'm going with someone else, Trent." I stated as his face practically fell, and he started to laugh. "Are you just saying that?" He raised his eyebrow up at me.
"No she isn't, mate. I'm her significant other." By hearing his beautiful voice, I sighed happily. "And I believe that you should stop talking to my girlfriend, and go sit over there- for the rest of the year. Thank you." Kol compelled Trent. Afterwards Kol took him by the collar and shoved Trent on his way, making me laugh. "Gosh, I love you." I leaned up before he gladly kissed me.
He took a stool and placed it next to me, after he moved his easel and canvas next to mine. "Well I couldn't stand that airhead flirting with you, darling." Kol leaned over to look at my canvas, when I quickly blocked it from his view. He looked at me puzzled, thinking of what to ask.
"May I see?" He questioned.
"It's a surprise, Kol." I waved my finger in front of his face, before he started to chuckle.Instead of continuing on the topic, he started talking about the dance. "Who are we going as?" He glanced over at me as he painted. "That- I'm still unsure of." I mumbled almost to myself.
"Oh, well don't buy any costumes. I have the real thing at home." I laughed and pulled Kol closer to me, pecking his lips in the process. When the professor walked in, I stopped and resumed painting. She walked over to us, and stopped to stare at our work. "Hmm, I like that you stick with a dark theme, and that you capture the pure beauty of the beach. Nice work." The professor walked away, after she gave us her opinion.
"You painted a beach?" I leaned over to check out his painting, when he blocked me from viewing it. "Nope, you won't let me see your painting, so I won't let you see mine." Kol smirked towards me. "Okay, sassy pants." I mumbled.
"What'd you say?" He asked with a playful smile.
"Nothing." I replied holding in a giggle.
