It has been two days since my confession to Kol. He seemingly didn't yell at me, or raise his voice at me- like I thought he would, but instead he hugged me. He poured out his pain to me, and finally I could help him. But this conversation will be the first of many to change him.
Anyways, today was my birthday. I was going to turn 19, and I was in a house full of Vampire/hybrids. The feeling was pretty normal now.
I had just gotten up from bed, and realized that Kol was nowhere to be found. I groaned and soon went to get changed into my clothes. "Ugh, Monday's suck." I muttered before I left the bedroom. As I made my way downstairs, I was suddenly startled.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLIVIA!!!!" I practically fell downstairs, with a small embarrassing laugh. I was super close to puking- completely out of nerves, but held the feeling in. "What's this?" I laughed as I finally walked down, seeing a table full of breakfast.
"Your birthday breakfast, duh." Caroline cheered before she hugged me. Kol walked up to me with a smile plastered on his face. "Happy Birthday, darling." I felt a kiss on my temple, after I was engulfed into his chest.
Elijah, afterwards walked up to me. "Happy Birthday, my dear Olivia. Rebekah also wishes you a happy birthday beca-" I hugged Elijah tightly, cutting him off. "I know Elijah, thank you so much." I backed away, and saw that he too, had a smile on his face. He fixed his suit and went to look at the newspaper.
I noticed that Klaus and Caroline were spending more time together, which was honestly the cutest thing on the planet- but not as cute as me and Kol. I laughed to myself at the thought.
An hour passed by, and we were all still hanging around the Mikaelson residence. Klaus and Kol disappeared somewhere, but I wasn't really curious. Caroline started nodding her head out of nowhere, so I decided to see who she was doing it to. I turned my head around, only to see Klaus and Kol standing next to something with a blanket over it. A present, I guess.
Kol's eyes never left mine, as he revealed what it was. I gasped as I saw my own self in the painting- it was beautiful. The bright colors filled the whole painting together, the way he made the sunset and the waves... It was truly breathtaking. I walked up to the painting, mesmerized.
I didn't notice that Kol was a little bit nervous of my opinion- because instead of asking me how the painting was, he just kinda looked at me with big questioning eyes. "It's beautiful, Kol." I almost whispered as I turned to look at him. He sighed with relief as if he thought I didn't like it.

Surprisingly, the Mikaelson's held a big party that even extended on the streets. All my friends from Mystic Falls were even there, which was even more surprising.
The music blared out so loud, that I couldn't hear myself talking. Seeing everyone dance and having a good time made me happy. Suddenly some guy whipped out a camera and told me to stand on the stairwell, where the Mikaelson brothers were. The moment reminded me of the Mikaelson ball.
"Smile, darling." Kol whispered into my ear. When timed perfectly, he kissed my cheek just as the photo was taken. Afterwards, I felt like I was practically swept off my feet by Kol, who carried me to the dance floor.
I laughed as Elena made her way over to me, holding a drink high up in the air. "Happy Birthday, Liv!!" She shouted when everyone else around us cheered. It was obvious that she was drunk.
The lights flashed everywhere, almost as if the Mikaelson residence, turned into a nightclub. "Hello, ladies." Behind Elena, was the party animal himself, Damon- who was drunk as hell. They danced in such a sexual way, which made me feel slightly awkward. The situation would have been normal, if I was drunk like them.
