Days went by, that turned into weeks- and here we were, Spring Break. Kol and I decided to leave for a trip to Europe, which was a relief for me.
The plane had just landed, and we all had boarded off. "Haven't been here since the 1700's." I heard Kol mumble from behind me.
"Ah, yes when we daggered you." Klaus snickered.
Oh yeah, I forgot- his family went along with us. So the fits of anger never ended throughout the plane ride.
Kol frowned, starting to get in Klaus' face. "Don't remind me." Rolling my eyes, I grabbed Kol's arm to lead him away from Klaus.
Elijah cleared his throat. "No bickering while we're on vacation." I saw his eyes wander over Hailey, who was next to him. It was super obvious that Elijah liked Hailey, ughhhh. Soon after we boarded off the plane, we all headed to pick up our luggage.
"Darling, I'm getting something to eat, do you want anything?" Kol asked, while he put one earbud in his ear. "A croissant, please." I answered with a smile. His smirk grew before he kissed me on the cheek.
"Oui ma chérie (Yes my darling)." My knees grew weak when Kol spoke in French. I had no idea what he said, but it was totally hot.
While waiting for my luggage, I noticed a man approaching me. He started speaking to me in French, which I didn't understand. "Sorry, I don't understand." I stated.
After a while it looked like the man had a lightbulb over his head."You're from America?" He asked while pointing at me. I nodded my head in reply before another guy walked by, who started talking to the previous man. As soon as I saw my suitcase, I went and retrieved it, grabbing Kol's on the way.
"Excuse me, we would like to show you around France." One of the men, again, tried to talk to me. "Um, no thanks." My eyes darted around the room, looking for Kol. "I don't think so." Kol stated, holding a brown paper bag- probably the croissants'.
Kol's eyebrows furrowed as he shew the two men away. "Voici votre croissant, chérie (Here's your croissant, darling)." A smirk grew from Kol's face while he handed me my croissant. "What did you-"
"Ready to go?" Elijah fixed his suit while he approached us with the rest of the group. "Yeah." I shook off my own question, as we all left the airport.
Hailey and I waited outside for the boys to compell us a car. Being with Original vampires can have some ups and downs; this was one of them. "Isn't a party without a baby and the aunt." Both our heads turned around to see Rebekah, and from what I've heard- Hope Mikaelson. The newest and cutest addition to the family.
I saw Hailey tear up, before we both ran over to Rebekah and Hope. The baby was handed over to Hailey, as I hugged Rebekah tightly. "Bekah, where have you been?" I asked.
"It would be more fun if that'd stay a secret, Liv," Rebekah started, "I missed you so much!" She added.

That day, I watched as Hailey and Klaus took care of their baby. She was beautiful, nobody could deny that. As a family, we all walked around the large city that we were in. "How does it feel to be an uncle?" I asked Kol with a little giggle.
Kol shrugged. "There's no difference really." He answered, pulling me into his side as we walked together. "Look." Kol pointed over to the large architecture. The Eiffel tower. I'd never think that I'd be able to see it ever in my lifetime.
"I forgot to remind you all, we were invited to a ball tonight by some old companions." Elijah informed, standing in front of us all to make us stop and listen. "Who'll watch the baby?" Klaus questioned, angrily.
Taking the opportunity to do so, I spoke up, "We'll watch Hope." I gestured to Kol and I. His eyes widened, like I said something wrong. "Please." I added, saying this to everyone but mostly Kol.
He rolled his eyes before nodding his head. "Fine, but if something happens to her I will-" Klaus started when Kol interrupted him, "Dagger me. I know brother." My heart stopped at the mere thought.
"Good." Klaus smirked evilly.

The remainder of the Mikaelson family waited by the door, while Hailey continuously asked me if I knew how to take care of a baby. "You sure?" She repeated.
"Yes Hailey, for the last time- I used to babysit, I'm prepared!" I laughed as I helped her get to the door. I held Hope in my arms, who was perfectly fine at the moment. "Goodbye, my precious little Hope." Klaus walked over and placed a kiss on Hope's forehead. It was so adorable, because she giggled in the cutest way.
"I swear Kol, promise me." Kol groaned and placed a hand on both his brother's shoulders. "Don't worry, she'll be safe with us." His eyes wandered over me, when he smiled softly.
"Now go. Have fun at that stupid ball." Kol snickered, sending them all off out the door. Soon after, I went to sit down on the couch with Hope still in my arms. "She's absolutely perfect." I whispered, holding out a finger so she could grab onto.
Kol sat opposite of me, watching us with careful eyes. "What's that smell?" He made a little face. Right away, I knew and it made me laugh out loud.
"What?" Kol asked, still confused. "She went to the bathroom, Kol." I replied, getting up to change Hope's diaper. Kol followed behind me, swiftly.
As I changed her diaper, I decided making conversation with Kol would be the best. "Are you ever afraid of being daggered?" I blurted out while I wiped down Hope.
"I'm not afraid of anything." He simply replied. "Sure." I said sarcastically, glancing towards him. When I finished putting on a new diaper on Hope, I turned to Kol, who was completely silent.
"I remember that night at the ball we hosted in Mystic Falls. I was going to kill that Matt Donovan boy," he looked up into my eyes before continuing, "I told Bekah, that she was weak for falling in love with a mortal being." In a flash, Kol stood only centimeters away from me. I bit onto my tongue, and felt my heart beat ten times faster.
"Thing is, I'm not afraid of being daggered- I'm afraid of losing my mortal girlfriend, or even being without you." He sighed, cupping one of my cheeks. I decided to lean up and kiss him lightly on his lips. "Why do you always have to make my heart flutter." I pulled away with a laugh.
Hope started to bawl her eyes out, making me spin full circle to calm her down- but when I turned around, Kol was cradling her. She stopped crying, and just then it felt like a miracle took place.
It was like Kol was a completely different person.
And boy was it a sight to see.
