Kidnapped Sunshine

Learning Some Robotics

Lil stretched as she woke up. She showered and brushed her teeth. Sun had still not gotten up to come get her so she decided to go down through the doors. She went through the long hallway and she was just going through the hidden door in the poster. Lil didn't notice in the dark the two figures that were looking at her.
"You just live with them now?" Vanessa said, crossing her arms. Lil jumped hard and turned around.
"I-I umm I was just-why are you here?" Lil said quickly with her eyes wide.
"I'm the officer here so I can go anywhere but this little bot kept trying to take me over here," She motioned down to the wet floor bot from before.
"Neptor why," Lil covered her face. "Bad robot," Lil pointed at him. His ears went down as he sadly beeped.
"Neptor?" Vanessa asked, putting her hand on her hip with her flashlight and the other hanging at her side.

"Yeah, I had Sun ask his name. Am I going to get fired?" Lil looked down with guilt.
"You should get fired but I won't say anything. The fact either of them is letting you is crazy in itself," she smiled a little. Moon had begun to sneak behind Vanessa and Lil was just watching quietly. She did take a breath of relief. At least Vanessa understood. Moon grabbed Vanessa's shoulder making her yelp and flash the flashlight at him. Neptor quickly went backwards by Lil.
"Hey! No flashlight," Moon hissed. Lil giggled a little.
"Holy fuck Moon, you can't do that," Vanessa growled as she moved the flashlight out of his face. Moon laughed his raspy laugh. Lil pet Neptor before going to Moon.
"You two are kind of crazy but who am I to judge. I have to go so I'll probably see you tomorrow," Vanessa waved at both of them as she left. Neptor quickly followed her, getting a glare from Moon.
"I guess two people know I'm living here now," Lil sighed.
"I'm surprised that she's staying quiet but I'm glad," Moon smiled down at Lil. "Time for work now."
"Yup, time for work," Lil sighed.

Lil went through the next day the same way but with way more small kisses from Sun and Moon and more teasing from kids. She went into the break room with a salad. She sat down and started eating. She was going to ask Sarah to help her learn robotics today and hopefully she agrees. The door opened quietly as Sarah entered. She had said too much yesterday so she was hoping Lil wasn't upset with her. Lil looked at Sarah with a determined look.
"Hello Lil," Sarah smiled as she sat down.
"Hi, I have a question," Lil said, getting to the point. Sarah started to eat the salad she brought today.
"Lay it on me," Sarah mumbled.
"Are you able to teach me simple robotics such as fixing robot parts?" Lil asked as she had already finished her salad. Sarah slightly choked.
"You really want to learn that?" Sarah questioned.
"Yes," Lil answered simply. "I want to start today if we can."

"You know what, I'm not that busy. Sure after I eat we can," Sarah smiled.
"Okay great! I'll go tell Sun I'll be gone for a bit," Lil got up quickly leaving the room. Sarah just watched her leave with a neutral look on her face. Lil got to the daycare and went up to Sun who was coloring.
"Oh hello sunshine! You're back early," Sun smiled big.
"Yeah, Sarah said she could help me learn a few things today. So I'll be gone for some time," Lil smiled back at him.
"Oh that's great sunbite! Go have fun and learn some things," Sun continued to color his picture.
"Alright Sun, see you later," Lil smiled as she blew him a kiss. He caught it and blew one back. Lil saw Sarah who was walking towards the daycare.
"Ready?" She asked.
"Yup," Lil answered.

Sarah had her start with fixing arcade machines and simple fixes on the tv screens. It was very difficult and frustrating but it all was worth it. Lil wanted to remove the program that was in Sun and Moon. Her and Sarah had been getting along pretty well. They were talking as they got to the daycare. Sun was cleaning things up when they walked in. He smiled at Lil but his smile slightly twitched when he saw Sarah.
"Hi! Did you two have fun?" Sun asked as he put a tub of colored pencils away.
"She did great!" Sarah patted Lil on the back. "I'm going to head home," She smiled as she waved goodbye. Both Sun and Lil said bye before Sun looked at Lil.
"So?" He smiled.
"It was fun but frustrating," Lil sighed as she went closer to him. "Sarah was really nice through the process so that was nice," Lil smiled as she hugged Sun. Sun hugged her back hard.
"That's very good sunshine," Sun kissed her head. "You ready to sleep?"

"Not yet, I want to play a card game first," Lil kissed his chest. He moved away to go get the cards. Lil sat down at one of the kid tables. Sun came over and sat on the ground. They played some simple card games for a few hours. Lil started to blink slower.
"Sunlight, are you tired?" Sun smiled at her.
"No," She mumbled, rubbing her eyes. Her body felt slightly heavy.
"You aren't lying are you? You do know liars get put in time out," Sun walked over to her and picked her up. He cradled her softly, kissing her face.
"So what if I am, I'm a grown adult," She sluggishly hit his chest. He hushed her softly. He brought her up to the room.
"Why don't you want to go to sleep?" Sun asked, laying down with her still in his arms.
"I want to spend time with you," She frowned.
M: Wow, leaving me out huh?
Sun rolled his eyes at Moon's comment.
"And Moon of course, I love you both," She sighed snuggling into him.
M: That's better.
"Don't worry sunshine, when the weekend comes around we will have lots of time to ourselves," He then kissed her slowly before she could retort. They kissed for a while before Lil had to pull away. "Good night my doll."
"Good my dear Sun," Lil smiled before she fell asleep.
