There was a knock on the shed door. Amanda froze, her face losing color. Rose walked over to then door. She lifted her hand to open the door, just as she was about to touch, Amanda grabbed her hand.
"Give me your knife. Now." Amanda whispers lowly, but in a very stern tone. Rose reaches inside her pocket, handing Amanda the knife Kyle gave her the other day, with a confused look. Amanda slowly gets the blade out an very slowly opens the door, Rose still confused behind Amanda. There, stood the boy Amanda saw just a few hours ago. Now that Amanda was a lot closer, she could see, his grey shirt had tiny holes an clearly it was old, over-top of his shirt, he was wearing an unzipped red hoodie. The black pants he wore, were covered in dirt. His shoes looked the oldest of his clothes. He had deep blue eyes, short blonde hair. He looked like he was in his late teenage years.
"I believe you are Amanda an Rosalina?"His voice was deep, but very stern an calming. His eyes went from Amanda to Rose.
"H-how do you know our names?"Amanda said, angered, gripping the knife.
"Oh, my dear Amanda. I know things, my name? It's Rain. If you want, you can call me Drip." Rain smirked as the words left his mouth, looking at Amanda. "No need to be scared. I shall be your friend. I know you two are having a hard time with the move. Though, you guys hide it well, Props to you. But, I can see past the eye." There was silence for a few seconds which seemed minutes.
"Well, Rain, when someone you have no idea is, knocks on your door, knowing who you are, is pretty scary. Leave before I kill you on spot." Amanda said, looking at the boy, with pure hatred. Rose steps closer, pushing Amanda away.
"Look here Rain, why do you want to be around here? Ama has a short temper. You have a few minutes to explain before I let her kill you." Rose said, oddly calm, staring at Rain.
"Well, Rose, you see. I know Amanda. She won't remember me. We used to be the best of friends! Amanda, remember back to the day your parents died. The killer, was my mother. Our mother's were great friends! Oh yes. Until. Your father paid my mom to kill them both. Of course, my mom fought with it. But gave up. She lost her mind when she killed. She soon went after me. She got my dad. I ran out of the house an lived in these woods. I used to live 10 miles from here. The old family that lived here, helped me occasionally. I won't expect you guys to help me, but, Amanda. I want to try an help you. It's a lot to take in all at once. But I'd prefer Riley not to know. Kim, she knows me. She arranged this all. Ask her later tonight." Rain walked away, trying to hold back on crying with the thought of his parents. Amanda sat down on the edge of the bed, taking in all the information, tears falling from her face.
'Is this guy crazy? It's not possible..Kim wouldn't allow this... This Rain kids insane! I'd be stupid if I believe in that bullcrap!' Amanda thought to herself
"Amanda...What if he-" Rose was cut off by Amanda standing up shoving Rose away an running out the door in a random direction that was nowhere near the woods behind the shed.
After running for 5 minutes Amanda ran out of breath, an sat on the side of the road, breathing heavily, crying hard. Footsteps could be heard 10 feet away. They're approaching Amanda. As she looks up, Rain is towering above her.
"Why do you run? I finally have you back, yet you run. You don't need to run back to Rose, Kim, and Riley. You can stay with me, an I can be your friend. Screw the big city, with hundreds of friends, I'll be your only friend, I'm all you need." Rain stuck out his hand to Amanda
