Mark stared at the walls, that was Amanda's old room. That is now his. It had been weeks, maybe months since he had seen Amanda. 'I really hope she's okay..What have I done?I shouldn't have reached that far in...I should have left some, implanted at least one of us. Maybe like..Our first kiss. Her feelings will always be there, no matter what. And if she would have had that memory, she would have thought more in, about me, and want to start a search for me. But what could she do? If she was able to come here...Well. Asadeath would kill her...That or use one of her hitman again. I really miss her.' Mark thought to himself, his thoughts cut as the door opened.
"Sir, Mark, it's that time again. Come with me." Rain spoke, getting an evil look from Mark. Rain looked over his shoulders. "I have information you'd like, sir." Rain whispered. Mark's look changed, to an interested one. He stood up an stretched, walking out of the house without a word, having Rain follow behind. As they were walking in the woods, Mark looked around him, and spoke lowly.
"What do you have for me, Rain?"Mark's voice held hope in it.
"Well, sir, Zack went out on the hunt. Behind Asadeath's back. With me." Rain's voice held excitement, leaving Mark confused. "We found two people, I think you know, and will be happy to see." They walked for an hour and a half in silence, until they reached Rain's new cabin, there was a male and a girl on his stairs. The girl had black hair, with her orange hair showing at roots. She was hugging her knees, hiding her face, and the man had bright orange hair, consoling the girl. "Felix! Come here." Rain yelled, the man raised his head, the girl didn't budge. The man came running up to Mark.
"Mark, why has Amanda think she ran away? Lost Rose? Thinks I'm dead, alongside her mother? Can't remember you? Remembers Rain. What the freaking hell dude!" Felix raises his voice.
Mark's face went pale as he looked down. "I was forced to remove her memories. It was to keep her safe. I'd rather have her out here, than her being with Asadeath. She'd be her guinea pig. I'd much rather be the guinea pig, than her. I tried to shift Asadeath's mind, wouldn't work. She was using Rose's. All I did was change Rose's, not Asa's. If someone is in someone else's body, I can't control the person who isn't meant to be there, I just can't. It's out of my control." Mark looked up to the girl, and started to walk up to her. Felix and Rain were talking, Mark just ignored them. He had his mind set on one thing, and one thing only. He grabbed Amanda by her chin, making her look up, he looked deeply into her eye's, his going completely grey, soon after her's flashed a quick dark grey, and returned back to normal, as did Mark's. They stared at each other for a minute. Mark was pulled into a kiss, by Amanda.
"Don't you dare ever do that again." Amanda said with a bit an attitude when she pulled away.
Mark stared back into Amanda's steel grey eyes. 'My dearest, forgive me. I have made a mistake. I would rather have you out here, than with Asadeath. I'd rather be the one she uses. She's sick. See why I didn't want you going alone, something seemed weird. At first, I just didn't want to see you and my sister fighting. But that night, I went out and thought. I had traced the number to Asadeath's phone. Second phone to be exact. I went out searching for Katarina in the underworld. She doesn't blame you. She isn't out for you anymore. After that, I brought her with me, and by time we made it to my house, you had snuck out. wasn't too hard to follow, I mean, come on now, your mind sends out a signal I can find within a mile of you. Katarina was there with me. She was waiting for us to leave, so she can finish her Mission. We didn't know, Asadeath was in Rose. Until it was too late. Soon after, I started to think...You would be better off, you know...Living a life without us, having no idea of us.' Mark mind messaged Amanda. Amanda's eyes were watering as were Mark's.
"Hate to ruin the moment, but we have places to go. We kinda have to find Kat, and take down Asa, once and for all." Felix states as he walks up to Amanda, pulling her up by her arm, in a caring way.
"What a beautiful moment. The girl who's been evading us, and had almost got away, if it wasn't for her pathetic father and so-called-lover. Mark, you know, you took my spot. She was mine. We were supposed to be together, carry on the line, leaving behind a Legendary Child! But noo, you had to come along. And ruin everything. No wonder why Katarina ran away from you. Who would want to be related to..That?" A familiar voice spoke, stepping out of the tree's shadows, alongside 3 others.
Amanda looked over at the first figure. "Zack.."she looked over to the second, third and then fourth."Asadeath...Rose..." Mark looked over to the last and mind-messaged.
'Katarina...What..Are you doing here?' there was silence in her mind.
"Let the fun begin!" Asadeath yells loudly as she disappears into a cloud of smoke and reappears behind Amanda, with her sword against her throat. Amanda winced when the blade cut her neck, again. "Can't handle a little pain? PATHETIC!" Asadeath pulled the sword back and yelled, "REAPER OF DEMONS, PUNISH THY!" she swung the blade at Amanda's neck.
