'Could what they say be true? Could Asa, be...Not what she appears? Kyle has never let me down, but...Why would HE out of EVERYONE...Hide things from me...He knows how much I hate it....' Amanda thought as she sat up in her bed. 'This is all bullcrap!' Amanda yells at herself as she punched her table next to her bed. Seconds later Rose came flying in.
"WHAT HAPPENED" her stare switched from the table an Amanda. "Ama, is everything alright ? What's got you annoyed?" Rose asked in a concerned voice, as she sat next to Amanda, on the bed.
"It's just...Kyle...He came by last night..." after Amanda explained the whole thing to Rose, she sat in utter shock. All she did was tell Amanda there's nothing to worry about with Asadeath an got up, an walked away, leaving Amanda's door open. Amanda had gotten dressed while explaining about Kyle. Her black see-through top, showed a red tank-top, with black pants an knee-high converse. Her hair was tied into a pony tail with her red contacts in. She stared out her window, into the thick fog that lingered around the house an woods. 'I can't do this' Amanda grabbed her messenger bag, an filled it with clothes, an a photo in a frame with her, an her parents. Amanda pried the window open silently, an jumped out the window landing on her feet, with a grin. 'Let it begin' there was a loud crack of thunder with a flash on lightning. She started running, as dark clouds filled the sky. She ran for hours, passing by the creek an lake, remembering her friends, that were like her family now. As she came to the end of the woods, where train tracks lay, she felt someone behind her. Their stare left the feeling of someone burning a hole in her back.
"Well, what are you doing out here?" a sweet voice rang, with a hint of danger in it.
"Amber." Amanda turned around an faced Amber. "Why have you been following me?" Amanda asked, grabbing a 6 inch pipe in her bag, holding it in her hand.
"My dearest, I have been given the assignment to watch after you. You know, make sure you didn't take off an just disappear off the radar, you know...Like you're trying to do now~." Amber purred as she stepped closer to Amanda.
"Amber, look, I will be fine. I'm not dropping off, I'm just...Visiting someone I know." Amanda stated as her pipe extended to 7 foot, with the end becoming sharp, pointing at Amber.
"Fine, I shall leave, but be mindful, the world is a cruel place." Amber says as she fades to ashes, being swept away as the wind blows. Amanda turns back around, the pipe goes back to being 6 inches. She puts it in her sleeve on her back, an puts her red cloak on. After following the train tracks, Amanda reaches a little city, as she walks into it, someone bumps into her.
"Oh, I'm sorry Miss." Amanda studied him, he was a rather tall man, at maybe 6 foot. He wore a black tee with grey pants, an a blue unzipped hoodie. His eye's were grey, with his hair being a dull red.
"It's fine, no big deal" Amanda leans down an goes to pick up a map she found a little back by the tracks, but before she could reach, the man was already down picking the map.
"By the map, I'm guessing you're not from here, are you?" The man lightly laughs as he holds the paper out to Amanda.
"Nope..I've never been here other than once for a mi-...Uh midnight party." Amanda choked out, almost saying the wrong words. She took the map from the man an they both exchanged smiles quickly.
"Well, let me show you around, maybe I could buy you some coffee. I do owe you from bumping into you. I'm Mark." The man named Mark holds his smile.
"Amanda." Amanda looked down the street, spotting her mother, glaring at her, in an unkind manner.
"Beautiful name, Amanda." Mark looked in the direction that she held her stare at. "Someone troubling you?" he asked concerned. She just shook her head. They started walking an talking. Amanda learned that Mark works part time at as a mechanic, he loves to play games, he isn't a party person an that he loves animals. They had a lot in common. His mother had ran away leaving him with his father, at the age of 10. A few days before Mark's 13th birthday, his dad came up missing an has been on the hunt for him, for 4 years now. They had sat down, an talking while drinking coffee, when Mia came up.
"Hello. Amanda." Mia looked down at Amanda.
"Mia. Will you excuse me, Mark?" Amanda asked lightly as Mark nodded drinking more coffee. Mia and Amanda stepped outside of the coffee shop. "What do you want, crazy woman?!" Amanda asked as she put her cloak back on.
"That's no way to speak to your mother. Have some respect." Mia slapped Amanda across the face, causing people around to stare.
"Over my dead body will I respect a piece of crap like you!" Amanda yelled, causing more people to stare.
"We'll see about that." Mia slapped Amanda across the face for a second time and shoved her into a wall.
