"Like hell I'll go with you!" Amanda yelled as she kicked her foot up, attempting to kick him in the face with her right foot. As her foot was inches away, he grabs it, an spins it around causing her to twist around, throwing her foot down on the ground.
"Oh, yeah, are you bipolar or something?!" Amanda muffles out, turning back around to face him, standing up.
"You attacked me first. What I just did, wasn't intentional." he boy spit out as he walks closer to Amanda.
"Keep your distance, freak! I'm not afraid to attack!" Just as Amanda pulled the pocket knife from her green hoodie, Rain grabs the wrist holding the knife, pulling her closer to him, taking the knife away with the other hand.
"I wanted to play nice. But you just wont have it. I'm trying to look after you, dammit, accept it. I want to try an keep you out of danger, you moron." Amanda tries her best to break free.
"Ama!! Come home! Where are you?" Rose said from a far.
"Sweetheart, come on home." Kim yelled as loud as her tiny body could.
"Well, they're looking for you. It would be the perfect time for me to show." Rain smiled a smile that could give a person nightmares. He picks Amanda up bridal style an starts running towards the voices.
"Kim! Hey guess who!" Rain was about 20 feet away from the two thin girls.
"Rain Maliza. I see you've met Amanda...Again." Kim said with a half smile, looking deep into Amanda's green eyes.
"Kim, please, inform Amanda why we moved, will you?" Rain smirked putting Amanda down.
"Well, sweetheart. You need to be re-united with Rain. He isn't a stranger. He's your childhood friend. His mother killed your parents, an went blood-crazied, killed his father, which was her love of her life, an then tried to kill Rain. He made it away an stayed in the woods here, with help from the previous owners. I know him, because well, it just so happens, my sister an her family lived here, but they disappeared. My sister gave me the house the day before she disappeared. An don't worry, I know your secret Amanda. You saw your family be killed right in front of your eyes. You told people you heard screaming an hid in the closet. Though, I know that's not true. I do not know how you were not killed, but, you're lucky to be here today." Kim sighed putting one hand on her shoulder, with sadness in her eyes.
"IF this is true... Why did no one tell me? I'm freaking 16 people!" Amanda yelled. Her green eyes lost the sadness, an started to fill with anger. "What the hell did I do to deserve this hell of a life? What did I ever do wrong?!" Amanda ran off to the woods, barely slipping away from the three people who seemed to not care that she ran.
Hours later.
It had seemed like forever walking in the woods. Amanda sat on a big log next to a little creek.
'This can't be true. It can't be none of th-' Amanda's thoughts were cut off as soon as she heard footsteps. She swung around quickly, only to see a boy in his late teenage years. He was wearing a blue shirt, an blue jeans. His hair was dyed red, he had orange eyes.
"Oh.. Uh.. My bad, I didn't know someone else comes here." His voice was deep, but shaky, as if he was uncertain of his words.
"You come here? This is only my first time. Don't mind me." Amanda switched her gaze from the boy to the water.
"Well, yeah, I come here everyday around this time. I'm Zack." The boy says as he sits next to Amanda.
"I'm Amanda." she muffles out, throwing tiny rocks inside the little creek. As the two just sit on the log, either watching the water, the wind blow the leaves on the trees, or throwing pebbles around, Zack broke the silence.
"Well, Amanda, you're very pretty." Zack looks away as he follows a leaf float around.
"W-well.. U-uh.. Thanks.." Amanda lightly blushed, an stood up stretching. "I gotta get home soon.. But.. I really don't want to."
"Why? Has something happened?"you could hear the concern in Zack's voice.
"Yeah. You see, I live with my best friend Rose an her parents, we just moved here this morning, an there's this kid around here that is trying to say his mother killed my family and that we were friends as kids an this is all just a lot to take in. So.. I ran an I landed here, I dropped my phone way back but didn't look behind me to pick it up." When Amanda finished her sentence, Zack pulled out a little phone handing it to Amanda. "How...How did you get this? Were... You following me?!" Amanda said as she grabbed the phone and backed away from the boy.
"No!! I was just taking a walk to come here an something shiny caught my attention so I went over an saw it was a phone an picked it up. I was going to take it home an see if I could find out who owned the phone. But when you said that, I remembered it an I returned it." Zack said with his head hanging down.
"Oh.. My bad.. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusion like that.." Amanda sighed an started walking away.
"Well, wait." Zack pulled out his phone an threw it at Amanda. "Put your number in, an I'll text you sometime" Amanda slowly nodded in a bit of confusion an programmed her number in his phone. She threw it back at him, an started walking home.
