[ MADDIE ]

"Madison, can you stop being such a buzzkill," Kendall sneers.

I stick the middle finger up at her in response not even lifting my attention from my phone.

We were in a limo on our way to the 2015 Teen Choice Awards, and I prefer to scroll through Instagram rather then listening to the other girls' tedious conversation about all the hot celebrities they are going to be meeting shortly.

I already know the hottest celebrity of them all so screw them.

Well shit, I just referred to Hayes as the hottest celebrity. Well he'll never know as I did so in my head, so no harm, no foul.

For your information, he still hasn't talked to me.

It has been over 2 weeks.

But I swear I'm over it.

I still hang out with Cameron regularly but that's about it. I'm not surprised that Nash has not kept in contact as there's probably some brother code of respect preventing that from happening.

"Melissa, please control your crude daughter," Kendall's annoying, whining mom, Jill, complains to my mom.

Looks like they ratted on me. Everyone in this car is incredibly immature, I cannot stand it. I feel like I'm surrounded by children, but everyone here is older than me besides my little sister.

I was going to request to sit next to Cameron tonight instead of putting up with these twats, but then I remembered that Hayes would be sitting somewhat close to him and decided against it. I doubt he wants to talk to me tonight, let alone see me, so it's probably best if we just keep our distance from eachother.

After what seemed like forever, we finally arrived at the teal carpet. I don't understand why they don't just use a red carpet. The least they can do is call it blue. Like calling it teal is incredibly pretentious, it's fucking blue.

As time went on I was able to ditch the "Dance Moms crew" and went on the hunt for one of my only friends who I can actually stand, Cameron. I soon spotted the suit he asked my opinion on and headed over to him.

I realized that Hayes was standing very close to him as both boys and Nash were signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. I then attempted to devise a plan to not get noticed by that particular Grier boy.

I truthfully didn't care if Nash spotted me because he's not the one who hates my guts, at least I hope he doesn't.

I snuck up behind Cameron and lightly tugged on his arm. When he turned around and saw me, he did exactly what I didn't want him to do but I probably should of expected.

"Madison Nicole Ziegler," he yells obnoxiously obviously trying to get Hayes to realize I'm metres away from him. I gave him a look, and in the corner of my eye notice Hayes is muttering something under his breath.

"Cameron, please shut up," I plead although he will probably ignore me.

There's no need to make this thing with Hayes more awkward then it needs to be. Cameron smiles wickedly but speaks again.

"Hayes," he begins and I immediately begin waking in the direction away from them. What I didn't previously notice is Cameron hand was gripping tightly onto mine.

I sigh and turn back around. I see that Hayes is refusing to face me aswell, at least I'm not the only one. But I know Cameron, and I know he wouldn't ever accept this.

Hayes begins to walk away from Cameron and I, but of course Cameron pulls me in pursuit of him.

"Hayesss," Cameron continues pestering Hayes. Hayes continues making his way across the carpet as Cameron is following him forcing me along with him.
