Lidia: Well anyways, you have a job.

Alexander: Do you mean like at the blacksmithing shop.

Lidia: No you idiot. It's a job from Max. I don't know why he is sending you but he is.

Alexander: Sending me on what?

Lidia: A job.

Alexander: What type of job?

Lidia: Don't get cocky with me.

Alexander: I'm sorry.

Lidia: If you want to know so bad get your lazy bones out of bed walk down the hall and ask your principal yourself.

Alexander: Okay.

He got up and walked down the hall to Max's office. He knocked on the door.

Max: Come in.

Alexander: You had a job for me?

Max: Indeed I do.

Alexander: So, what's the job?

Max: It may be true and it may not be.

Alexander: What do you mean?

Max: Well you and a few other students are going to be chasing a legend.

Alexander: A legend?

Max: Ya. I remembered it yesterday around noon while I was thinking of how you made the crystal sharer.

Alexander: Okay.

Max: I looked it up in your textbook and found the exact location the artifact would be in.

Alexander: What is the artifact.

Max: It's a darker crystal that looks like the crystal you had in your hands before.

Alexander: So who am I going on this with.

Max: just two students, you'll meet them later. I have one question for you.

Alexander: Ya?

Max: What exactly happened between you and Dusk a few days ago.

Alexander: Honestly I can't remember he pushed me and things went black.

Max: I see.

He scribbled something down in his notebook.

Max: I want you to get ready for your mission. Oh and don't use your element if you don't need to.

Alexander: I got it.

Alexander left the room.

Girl: Hey.

Alexander looked around . Where was that voice coming from.

Girl: Hey down here.

Alexander looked down. There was a small girl. She had bright clothing on. She had a large hammer strapped to her back and her chestnut hair was pulled into a ponytail. She had bright green eyes.

Girl: Hello I'm Silf. Nice to meet you, Alexander . I'll be one of your partners on the job.

Alexander: Hello, how did you know my name?

Silf: Well it's simple you were in the sick bed for a long time. I asked the lady that watched over you. She seemed concerned.

Alexander: Well nice to meet you.

Silf: Don't worry I'll protect you if we run into any monsters okay.

Alexander: Ya sure.

Alexander could not tell what element or how old Silf was. A few hours pass and the trio meet in front of the school on the bridge.

A slender man around the same height as Alexander was his other companion. He wore a dark robe with rips in the around the trim of the end of it. Under that, he had dark clothes. He had a hood pulled over his head.

Alexander: Nice to meet you.

Silf: hahaha that's Gray. He's kinda shy and gloomy but he's nice.

Gray pulled his hood down a little more.
