Dusk's corpse was left unattended for hours at a time. The nursing staff was used to having a corpse in the room but not one like that.
Everyone had known Dusk as a troublemaker but now to see him like this he looked like a normal kid. A kid who couldn't have caused harm. Dusk was a bad person but no one deserved this.
0009: Poor kid and to think I was considering making this one an apprentice. He is strong. Useful maybe.
The room became cloudy with a dark mist. The dark mist spiraled into a ball where the hole in his chest resigned. A black tar filled the hole acting as the section he had lost. She controlled his heart, controlled his blood flow. She controlled everything except the mind. The mind was too powerful for someone normal to control.
Dusk's chest rose and fell. He was alive again, being held by this woman's magic but alive. She snapped her fingers and a large shadow creature came out of the darkness and picked his body up.
0009: Now follow we have plenty of work to get done. This boy shall be a promising subject.
Dusk's power remained in his body along with his memory but as soon as Dusk were to die again 0009 would gain his power. That spell was a double-edged sword if 0009 were to die Dusk would now be alive and have her powers to go along with his own.
To be continued...
Woo, I'm bringing the dead back to life call me crazy but I think I'm leading up to the battle of all battles. Hint hint
