Third Person

I'm never drinking again" Brooklyn groaned as she laid her head down on her desk.

"Still hungover?" Taylor asked.

"I'm not gonna lie though, I did have a good time".

"Yeah a good time abandoning me!" Brooklyn hissed as she looked up.

"I'm sorry, its just that Klay was so damn distracting...a good distraction" she began to smile. "And besides you and Stephen seemed to be having a good time, I thought I left you in good hands" she shrugged as she continued to scroll through her phone.

"Well I'm glad you had a good time, Stephen my wedding client had to take my drunk ass home" she cringed as she thought of herself in a drunken state.

"There's no telling what I said"!

"I'm sure he'll understand...not so sure about his wife though" she it back a laugh.

"Great something else I have to worry about" Brooklyn mumbled.

"Oh no" Taylor put her coffee cup down as he eyes widened as something on her phone caught her eye.

"Yeah, tell me about it" Brooklyn mumbled.

"No! It's not that...okay don't freak out" Taylor sighed as she handed a confused Brooklyn her phone.

She couldn't believe the headline.

"Stephen Curry & Mystery Woman".

"Stephen Curry and a woman that's been identified as Brooklyn Hill are here seen leaving team mate Draymond Green's party. The pair looks mighty comfortable as they appear to be leaving the party. Hopefully just as friends otherwise Curry might have some explaining to do especially to his fiancé Jade Hill as the two are expected to be married soon.

"Oh no no no" She groaned as I continued to scroll.

There were a few pictures of her leaning on Steph he was helping her walk to then car.
Making it look like something that it's not.

"Okay calm down" Taylor ushered as she noticed her breathing rate start to increase. "You know that things aren't like that between you two so there's nothing to worry about, besides it'll blow over in no time" she assured.

The ringing of the office phone brought them out of their discussion.

"H-Hello" She gulped.

"Brooklyn, my office now" Camilla's firm voice spoke over the phone sending a wave of uneasiness over her.

"I don't think this is going to blow over soon" she shook her head.

"Lord please help me" she prayed as she made her way to the office. She just hoped that her side of the story was enough and that the news wouldn't reach a certain person back in Cleveland.

"We need eggs right?" Stephen looked over at Jade as she was looking at her phone. She looked up and rolled her eyes before looking back down.
