Accidentally Married

Chapter 30

Today I'm at the doctors with Reah to get my eyes checked. I have gone months without wearing my glasses and my eyesight has significantly improved and I don't require them as much anymore. Recently though I have been getting frequent headaches and I can't help but think it's related to me not wearing my glasses.
We performed a few tests and the nurse left to get the doctor to brief me.

" whatever you are using on your face I need it, your face is glowing, " Reah exclaims.

" thanks, " I say feeling my face. I didn't get pimples during my puberty years but I started breaking out around the time I turned 20 which caused me to be a little bit self conscious about my acne scars. Recently though I can see the hyperpigmentation decreasing so much and I'm happy someone noticed it.

" I still just use the same products I have been using, I'll sent you a link so you can check it out,"

She nods. " anyway when is this event you want me to attend?"

" I don't really know let me ask him, " I say taking my phone out.

*Daniel*

Hey

I text him and see him calling almost immediately. Putting the phone to my ear.

"Hey,"

" good morning, " his raspy voice comes through the line. " you texted?"

" Uhm, yeah I just wa.." as I'm speaking the doctor enters. " hold on real quick, " I tell him

" Amanda, how are you?, I haven't seen you since last year I think, " Dr.Sumit says as he takes his sit. " hello to you too dear, " he addresses Reah who is typing away on her phone.

She returns the greeting and goes back to her phone. I'm assuming she's texting a new lover judging by the way she's smiling. " yeah it's been a while but I've been well, how about you,?" I ask.

" All is well just work work you know, " he says while looking at what I'm assuming is my test results.

" Amanda," Daniel's calls my name through the call. " you aren't home. Who are you with?," he questions.

" oh sorry, I forgot I had you on the line. I was going to ask you when the event is happening, so I can get start looking for a dress."

" Amanda, I asked who you with and where are you?, " his voice sounding strained.

" Im out with Reah, had to run a few errands," I say. " let me call you when I get home okay." I hung up.

" sorry about that," I say to dr.Sumit.

" no worries, your eyesight has improved so much over the year. " He praises. " You don't need to wear lances anymore, probably just sunglasses to protect your eyes but otherwise you are good."

" so the headaches aren't related to my eyes," I ask

"from what I can tell-no, "

" oh okay that's good news then,"

" you are probably under a lot of stress or aren't getting enough nutrients or sleep, try looking into those , "

" I'll do that Doctor, thank you, "

Reah and I leave the doctors office and get coffee before going our separate ways. She has really been such a good friend, and she's easy to be around which is why when she asked if she could tag along to my appointment I didn't hesitate to say yes.

When I get home I go straight to my room and take a much needed shower. With my music on shuffle the sounds of old RnB echoed through the room. Once I was done showering I was busy blowing drying my hair when I hear the bedroom door open and harried steps followed before the bathroom door opens.

Shocked I let a scream. " Daniel, what the hell!. Why didn't you knock, "

He laughs and doesn't say anything as he approaches me. His amber eyes dark with emotion I can't pinpoint yet. Clutching the towel to my chest and my body against the counter there is no where I can I can go.

He takes off his suit blazer and places it on the counter and proceeds to do the same with his tie before in buttoning two bottoms of his shirt making his chest visible. " what are you doing?, " I ask confused.

" Amanda," he says my name so slowly as he hands cup the back of my knees he gently lifts me onto the counter and steps in between my legs. He did all this while maintaining eye contact. I hate how my body just naturally reacts to him.

" why do you like bringing such emotions out of me?"  He asks the frustration evident in his voice.

" what are you talking about,"
