Chapter 21- mermaid kisses and spiderman kisses

Chapter 21
Madelyns pov.

Taking a steady breath, Alec shuts his eyes before leaning closer, he brushes some of my hair out my face and cups his two hands on my cheeks. Ever so slowly he leans in closer and closer while sending Sparks and shivers across my cheek. There is no way that Alec couldn't hear my heat literally beating out my chest like a bass at a rock concert. Alec begins to tilt is head and hovers above my lips.

I close my eyes and let my body take over, and the next thing I knew, Alec's lips were against mine.

Butterflies formed in my stomach and heat spreads through out my body making me feel numb but so alive. I just wanted his lips to stay here forever. Slowly I lifted my arms and wrapped them around my neck pulling him closer. It was my first mermaid kiss.

I sat at the table in the cafeteria in silence, not paying attention to what my friends were talking about. I played with my food while my mind wonders.

Then I remember again. I kissed Alec Moore. I couldn't bite back a smile. Alec wasn't in the cafeteria today, I wonder where he is?

'Hello Madelyn!' Aubry said clapping in my face. I blinked and looked at the three pairs of eyes on me.

'What?' I asked.

'Something happened didn't it?' Ashley said raising her eyebrows.

'What no!'

The three of them looked at me with expression that told me they weren't believing a thing. I placed a chip back down in my plate and looked over at Kate suspiciously.

'What? I didn't tell them anything.' She said.

'Tell us what?' Ashley and Aubry said together.

'Madelyn likes Alec Moore!' Kate blurted out.

I face palmed myself and let out an annoyed groan.

'Oh my god! I knew it!!' Ashley shouted making a few heads turn our way. I glared at the people and they went back to eating.

'Your like gonna be the perfect couple ever!' Aubry jumped in her seat.

Thanks a lot Kate. Much appreciated....

'I can sense something else! What happened between u two?' Ashley asked leaning in across the table. Eyeing my suspiciously.

That's when I gave up.

'I kissed Alec, for the first time in mermaid form.' I whispered.

All three of them squealed and jumped off their seats. That's how I died from embarrassment.

'My little mermaid is finally home.' Alec said to me at the door.
I smiled at him.

'Come on, I want to take you somewhere.' He said, I followed him out the door.

'Were are we going?' I ask, we were driving for about 20 min.

'It's a surprise.' He smirked. Can I kiss him again? I can't resist anymore.

Finally after another ten minutes we finally reached a town like area with lots of mini stores on the side. He got out the car and went around to open my door. 'Thanks.'

I followed him until we reached and ice cream store. He opened the door for me to come in but I stood there confused.

'You brought me 30min out here just for some ice cream that we could of got around the corner of my house?' I questioned.

'Hey! This will be the best ice cream you have ever tasted.' He said. I went inside to see pale pink walls and white tables and chairs. We went to the counter and looked at all the favours.

I spotted my favourite one and turned to Alec.
'Honeycomb is my favourite.'

'No, you would want to try the chocolate fondu ice cream.' He smirks.

Once we got our ice creams we went for a walk along the path.

'Wow okay, this is now my favourite ice cream. Legit.' I nodded taking another bite of the chocolate ice cream.

'Told you.' He smiled.

Once I finished eating mine,
I looked over to see him about to eat the chocolate end of the cone. Before he could put it in him mouth I grabbed it and put it in mine.

He looked over a blankly glared at me.

'That's for kissing me.'

He smiled at the thought of yesterday. 'Your not still playing hard to get are you?'

'Depends.' I simply say.

'On what?'

'Depends if I want to kiss you again.' We reached a nice park and I sat in the swing. I loved swings, no matter how old I am.

Hold my pooch.

'I know you want to.' He smirked.

'And what if I do?' I asked getting off the swing.

'Well than kiss baby!' Alec sang. I blushed and when I thought he was going to stop, he just kept singing "kiss me baby" at the top of his lungs.

'Hey can you do me a favour?' I shout over his singing.

'Sure!' He sang.

'Shut up.' I said sweetly as I smiled.

'No can do my little mermaid.'

Then he start to sing songs from the little mermaid. The fact that he is singing in public doesn't bother me too much, it's the fact that he know the songs that scares me. Did his mother make him watch Disney princesses?

Then he got up on the play equipment. Luckily the little kids were running around in the grass.
I hid a laugh just watching him dance around and sing.

'Your gonna fall.' I said.

'Fall in love with you? I already have.'

That's the story on how my heart died. I stood here frozen with my heart beating twice its speed. Alec climbs across on a web shape like climbing thing and indicates my to come over there. That's what I do.

He positions him self on the rope that looks like a web and hangs upside down. It reminds me of spiderman.

'Your so beautiful Madelyn.' He said before he cupped my cheeks and put is lips to mine.

Not my first human kiss but it's one of the best. And I feel like Mary-Jane on spiderman.
Kissing Alec was one thing, kissing Alec as a mermaid was another, but an upside down kiss, oh my.

Once we pull away. I smile. He gets down and looks me in the eye. I cross my arms.

'Stealing Spider-Man's way of kissing?' I joke.

'Don't act like you didn't annoy it.' He smirked.

We drove back home, blasting the music out of the speakers of our favourite songs. Once we got home I ran upstairs.

'Madelyn!' Alec called. I paused half way up and turned to see him smiling.

'Smart,
Beautiful and magical.
Looks like you come with the whole package, little miss flustered.' Back to the old nickname now?
'I guess you can call me lucky that you have got me wrapped around your finger.'

With that he smiled and walked off. My lips slightly part as to what he just said. I smile to myself and continue my way back to my room.
