Ch-27

3rd POV:

As Zoro and Mihawk fought, Aile never took her eyes off the two. She knew if she did something might go wrong, since Mihawk was distracted.

As Mihawk search the surroundings he sighed not seeing what he wanted.
He turned to Zoro and observed the boy. He noticed the boy was interesting, a Swordsman that wants to surpass him huh?. It's been a while since he saw something intriguing. The boy has talent, passion and determination, that a Swordsman should have.

He doesn't know if he should call him foolish, crazy or brave. He wants to test out if the boy has anymore interesting in him.

Mihawk took his little danger and was about to pierce it through Zoro, but something was thrown causing it to deflect his attack. He glance at his side to see what it was, and saw a kunai. He halted his attack and approached the kunai, and there he saw, one of the answers he was looking for.

His eyes widen, as he saw what was written on the kunai.

Everyone froze as he snap his attention to the direction where the kunai vame from.

And at that very moment, he finally found the last piece of the puzzle.

'Finally '

Obsidian eyes and Hawk eyes made contact with each other. The male eyes soften at the sight, it looks like he was enchanted.

Mihawk lowered his weapon and face Aile who's currently on the roof.

"State your name"
For some reason, Mihawk could not make his tone of voice demanding. Because it was so gentle, like comforting a small animal, that stunned even the audience.

Aile who stood up and jumped from the roof, before landing in front of him gracefully. A peaceful silence made them have an invisible conversation. Only the sound of the wind and the ocean can be heard.

"Aile Greya"

Mihawk eyes widen, as Aile's softly whispered her name. Mihawk lowered his hat to his face, after a few seconds he raised his head and made eye contact with Aile again. His expression changed it was unlike the one he had before when he arrived.

Mihawk took a step towards Aile. And as he arrives much closer to Aile, he raised his hand.

This action was not stopped by anyone, they couldn't move because of the heavy atmosphere. Some of them thought he would hurt her, Zoro who didn't know what was going on runned towards them and was about to stop Mihawk.

Not only him but Luffy, Nami, and the crew plus a blond hair man with swirly eyebrow broke free from the heavy atmosphere and runned towards them.

Unbeknownst to them, Mihawk does not have any intention of ending her.

So they all froze again when he cups her right cheek. And gently pulls it up to face him.

" To think that you were the last piece of the puzzle "
Mihawk soft caress her cheek as his fond eyes roam around her face, admiring every details. Voice soft as a cotton. "How lucky of me"

" Yeah, you're indeed lucky....to think you would be able to solve the puzzle first out of everyone"
Aile place her hand above his, before leaning on it. Aile doesn't crave touches but, for some reason Mihawk's gentle touch made her feel safe, causing her to unconsciously leaned on it.
