Ch-5 - finally meet -

Jade's pov:
Its been 3 days since I came here, and I've gotten used to my daily life, well a bit different, cause I  trained my self for the upcoming meeting with the King of the Pirates. To be honest I  am pretty excited to really meet him face to face.

Since he was one of my favorite characters,,,Gol D. Roger..  The man who became the king of the pirates,,
Even though I was always busy back in my past life,, that I have almost forgotten about watching One piece... There was always a time when I'm feeling down,, and almost lost hope.. One of my alarm clock will ring, and a song will called 'We Are' .

Yes that was the song of one piece. And because it always appeared, whenever I'm down, I  always rise back up cause I felt like its giving me motivation and reminding me what my real reason was for all the things I'm doing.

"Jade!? "

A voice snapped me out of my thoughts, I was so focused on my thoughts, I didn't even realize I was spacing out. After I recover myself, I shook my head slightly ,and turn to the person I was originally talking to,,,My Mother.

"Jade dear what's wrong? "
She asked me with a voice filled with worry. I looked at her in the eye, with a blank Face, before turning into a genuine smile. And said
"Its Nothing Mother, I was just thinking about what I  should do now in this world"
After saying that I turned my face away from her, as I felt guilty for Lying to my own mother... Since I've already decided of what I will do on this world.
"oh right "

My mother said ,still worried but , convinced of my lies. And it hit me like a boulder, as guilty began to envelope my chest.

She gave me suggestions of, what I might like doing in this world, and I was happy of her as she talk while smiling. I just smile and sway with the flow,, I thank her for the suggestions.. But got suspicious of her behavior,, I  listened and observe her, to look for clue.. Because its very unlike her to say those kind of suggestions.

I waited and waited but, no signs of answer so, I just decided to ask her directly.
" Mother, why?" I muttered making my mother look at me with a question gaze, telling me to continue.

"why are you giving these kind of suggestion?, it very unlike you"

After I said that, I thought she will think of me as an idiot but, her response took me by surprise, as she look at me blankly before smiling and said

"Jade, Even if u have a child appearance, I know for a fact that ur already an adult inside. I've already watched u grow, although I didn't manage to watch and guide u in those moments. I hope that atleats I can experience the important moments that I missed because of my foolish decisions.

I want to give u advice, that I didn't manage to say in the past. And I don't want you to repeat the same mistakes I did. Forgive this Foolish Mother of urs for being late."

Avoiding Laura's Gaze
Jade drop her head down facing her lap. Her body trembles as she try to hold back her tears. So that her mother won't see her pathetic state.

"Jade dear, Look at me"
Laura said,

Jade didn't budge, So Laura took action and made her daughter face her. As her hands cupp her daughter's soft cheeks making her look up at her. Laura looked at her daughter with loving eyes, she wrapped her arms around Jade and hugs her gently, while panting the back of her head.

Laura knew that Jade doesn't want anyone to look at her pathetic state, So she decided to not pay attention to her face which was flowing with tears. As it runs down her cheeks.
