Dracule Mihawk has never been the type to prey on others business. His the kind of person that builds a wall between him and the other party, his cold demeanor makes others keep their distance with him, not that he hated it. He likes- no loves his personal space, which is why he never lets anyone in it.
Well except for Red-hair Shanks the yonko who always came barging in his life. The same with the other crew members that act too buddy with him, as much as he dislikes them, he has a lot of respect in each of them, especially Shanks.

Alger was a very known criminal, not just because his a pirate but also because his actions are like rebellion. Some had the theory that his one of the revolutionaries, but it was left unconfirmed.
He was a mystery that even Mihawk himself cannot figure out, Mihawk is a very observant person, he likes to analyze people through their actions and behavior to know what kind of people they really are.
But for some reason Alger the famous said to be handsome, mysterious, unreadable, heroic, and a genius criminal.

He first saw Alger on the very day of GOLD ROGER'S execution, the king of the pirates.
On the roof top of some buildings, he saw Alger standing there. His very small silhouette faces the execution platform. He also saw the Vice admiral and king of the pirates stared in his direction. He was sure that Alger and them made eye contact, and that Alger shed a tear as he saw the long blades stabbed the pirate king.
He stared at Alger that very day, with curious eyes, why did he not save him? Why did he watch him die? Not that he, himself cared. He was just curious, why did he just cry there and act like a pathetic idiot? Did he not have enough power to save him?
The Vice-admiral seems to also know Alger's presence, as the two of them
made eye contact. Never did his eye leave Alger's figure, instead of watching the pirate king execution, his focus was direct at Alger. Even on his leaving figure.
His curiosity couldn't be stopped, that it reached the limit of him swinging his sword at the genius criminal on the day he caught a glimpse of him, a year after Gold Rogers execution.
Jade POV:
Letting a clone watch over mother is quite concerning. Especially if HE caused trouble for her, I should probably set up a protection barrier and a strong security, better safe than nothing.
