Three little gremlins screamed as they caught sight of their old man. Which of course results in a tick to appear on his forehead seeing the action of his grandchildren.

"Get back here you brats!"

"Don't wanna!"

"You'll just beat us up!"

"Yeah!"
The children shouted, running for their lives.

Not liking their reply, he excused

"It's called the fist of love!"

"Yeah right!"

They said in sync. Not believing the old man.

As the three got farther, the old man sighed and stopped chasing. Knowing that force shouldn't be used on such a day. So he just yelled.

"Ace! you got a delivery!"

His words cause a boy with freckles to stop on his tracks. The two boys behind him look at him confused. It didn't take another from the old man for him to turn back.

"Ace?"
A boy with a straw hat said. Followed by a blond boy wearing a top hat.

"Ace, Where are you going?"

Ace didn't answer and kept walking back to the old man.

"Garp-san..is that..his gift?"

A woman appears beside Garp asked.

"Ah, Makino.....yes"

Garp replied in a low voice, staring at the small box on his hand, cleanly wrapped in a red wrapper.

Garp sat on the ground and leaned his back on a larger boulder. As Ace got near him, he handed the box to him. Ace slowly took the box with a blank expression, sitting beside Garp he let go of the metal tube his been holding earlier.

His two brothers sat across him. Curious.
They stared at the box then back at Ace who began to frown.

"What's wrong Ace?"
The blond asked. "Aren't you going to open it?"

"What's that?"
The youngest asked giddily.

The blond deadpan at his brother.

"Luffy!"

"What?"
Luffy innocently asked. Makino let out a giggle as she watched the kids.

"It's a Gift"
She answered Luffy's question.

"Gift?"

Makino nod.

"For Ace?"

"Yup"

Ace tuned out the voices around him and started unwrapping the gift. His eyes slightly widen as it reveals a small treasure chest. And instead of a lock on the lid, a mark of spade portrays.

"Ohhhh, a treasure chest!'

Luffy beamed as his eyes sparkled.

"A small treasure chest...wonder what could be inside."
The blond said.

"Isn't it obvious Sabo? It's Gold!"

Luffy's words cause Ace to remember a certain memory of someone wearing a white cloak that sometimes changes into black ones. And both of the cloaks always have a signature that he could never forget.
A Gold dust of vines that stretches all over the cloak with its leaves and flowers, that always seems like it's alive.
He tried many times to see their face but always failed, though their bottom face was always visible.
