Jade yelled flustered.
Mihawk looks at her confused, while Jade tries to shift the topic.
"You said d-"
"I didn't!"
Jade yelled cutting him off, turning away from him.
"I haven't finish my sentence yet."
"Still !"
Jade cleared her throat.
"You hear nothing, NOTHING!"
Jade yelled at the last to prevent Mihawk from pestering the topic more.
"....."
This cause silence to stretch between them, though it would have work on anyone else. Too bad, the other party is THE Dracule Mihawk.
"No"
Mihawk whisper in disagreement, too quiet that cause Jade to turn around and face him again.
"What?"
"I said No"
Mihawk firmly said,
"What do you mean No?"
"You called me DEAR!"
Mihawk made sure to highlight the word Dear, causing Jade to feel flustered.
"I didn't!"
"You did!"
"I didn't!"
"You did!"
And their yelling went back and forth until Mihawk had enough.
"It's alright if you call me Dear!"
"No I won-....what?"
Jade swiftly turn her head back to Mihawk, though her hood prevent him from fully seeing her face. Her bottom face is still visible, that's enough for him to see it hanging.
"It's alright, I actually.... prefer if you still add my name along with that word."
Now it's Mihawk's turn to turn away. Jade couldn't see his face properly, she caught a glimpse of his ear turning red.
"...the word dear?"
Jade leaned forward to confirm his red face.
"Hn "
Mihawk answer

Much to Jade's effort, Mihawk made sure she can't get a better look. Leaning back, Jade sighed and thought for a moment.
"...ar.....Dracule...."
Mihawk snapped his head towards Jade with wide eyes. Jade then repeats it again in a tone soft to hear, it's like she's testing the waters. Pleasantly.
"Dear Dracule?"
Noticed Mihawk's attention, Jade suddenly stood up, she coughed in embarrassment before changing the topic one more time.
"What was that?"
Mihawk asked
"What was what?"
Innocently asked.
"Say it again."
