Marco POV:

"Athala D. Kalix"
I saw Pops frown at the name,
Does he feel it's familiarity too?
I thought.

"Athala D.   huh?"
He muttered.

"That name reminds me of someone"
I raise a brow at his words, not being able to contain my curiosity I asked

"Do you know who that name belongs to Pops?"
He looked at me confused. Like saying isn't it obvious? I rolled my eyes fondly at him as I hid my smile.

"It belongs to one of Roger's old Crew"
He said seemingly trying to remember something.

"Yeah..now I remembered, she was the chef of the Crew."
He gave me a grin, Happy to remember someone.

"Athala D. Laura... that's her name...Gurarararara! To think we would meet her Son........her son?"
As he completed the name it was like a boulder, Pops laughed at the coincidence. But soon he slowly realized something. Can't blame him, right now I felt myself turning pale, in disbelief.

I covered my face and did not believe such information. I was starting to think twice or waking myself up because it's probably a dream.

"SHE HAS A SON?!"
Both me and Pops shouted at each other. Our jaw drops, to think that the hot-headed woman would have a child, a son no less. Our brains seem to stop functioning and silence has now occupied the room.

3rd POV:

"Is she part of the Crew or?-"
Ussop asked Luffy while pointing at Aile.

They are now starting their journey after leaving the Island, they have now a ship named Merry. Kaya who was so generous and thankful to the crew. Gave it to them with no payment.

Now Ussop is currently painting their soon to be Jolly Roger while talking to Luffy.

"Aile?.....hmm of cou-"
As Luffy was about to reply Aile who heard the question cutted him off.

"No I am not"
Luffy and Ussop flinch as she startled them. They looked behind them and saw Aile holding a barrel. She dropped it on the ground and decided to explain her position.

"I'm an Ally... I am not an official member of this crew."
Aile's words made Luffy pout. His cheeks that puffs like a hamster, turns away from Aile, sulking childishly.

Aile couldn't resist the cuteness and patted his head gently. Luffy responded with a grin as he leaned into her hand and beamed with joy, seemingly to be satisfied with the touch. Ussop looked at them like they were weird.

Zoro tried to turn away from the sight as he felt something hurt in his chest.
Nami seems to want a pat on the head too. As her eyes linger on Aile's hand that is on top of Luffy's.

Nami who tried to turn Aile's attention to her, thought of a topic.

"Oh right Aile what's our next course"
Nami smiles as she creates a conversation. Aile whose attention got caught, turns to Nami, causing her gentle pat on Luffy's head to stop.
Luffy sulk at the lack of attention.

"I'm not sure"
Aile muttered in a thinking pose. She then turns her attention to Luffy who bursts into a beam when her attention shifts into him.

"Where's the next destination, dear?"
Luffy felt that fuzzy feeling again every time Aile called him Dear.
In response he grinned and said.

"Somewhere where there's food!
shishishi! "

3rd POV:

Kalix who ate the food Thatch brought to him felt uncomfortable.
Why? Cause he felt eyes on his, like it was observing his every move, where? On the small crack in the door.

It was like obvious few of the Crew were curious about him, but he then thought. They should probably learn a better stealth skill...I could see them from this angle.
He glance at them which startled them. Making them fall and pushing the door fully.

I recognize Thatch but there were a few figures I've never seen before.
As Kalix sweat dropped at them, his eyes flicker to a figure that caught his attention the most.

The figure got up from the floor, and there he saw the appearance he can never forget. A man with raven hair, freckles on his face, shirtless with tattoos on his left arm that says ASCE
with an X on the S. Necklace that is made of red beeds. An anime character in One piece that died, which is one of the cause of his sister's depression.

For some reason he felt guilt swallowing him. It was obvious his sister love's this character, he manage to meet him, but his sister could not.
Is there something he could do for them meet. He knows his sister doesn't like leaving her comfort zone. That's why she never left the Island.
But unbeknownst to him she already left a couple of times, not like it's any of his business to know it.

A cough pulled Kalix out of his thoughts. He saw the freckled man Infront of him grinning happily. He tense at the attention he got from the crew.

"Welcome to the Moby Dick, I'm Ace!
What's yours?"
The man said, sitting on a chair next to his bed.

"K-Kalix, Athala D. Kalix"
He answered hesitantly feeling overwhelmed by the man's personality.

(His Roger's son after all😆)

Ace beamed at the response,
"I see!.. your a D. Too!"
He eagerly asked leaning to Kalix's personal space, which cause Kalix to lean back. Kalix then made a confused noise on his words. Ace leans back and said.

" Portgas D. Ace is my full name! "
He fully introduce himself with a friendly aura on him. Slowly Kalix felt relaxed, with the calm atmosphere lingering.

"Nice to meet you...um...Portgas-san-"
Kalix was about to use formality but Ace cut him off.

"Ace is fine!"
Ace bubbly replied,
"Nice to meet you too!"
He grinned, after their interaction the other crew saw this and started to introduce them self.

"Hi. I'm Haruta!"

"Thatch!, you already know"

"Izou, pleasure to meet you"

"Vista, welcome to our ship"

After they all introduced themselves, Kalix realized that he was currently surrounded by a few Division Commander of the Whitebeard pirates.

Haruta, the 12th, Thatch, the 4th
Izou, the 16th and Vista the 5th Division Commander. Kalix felt like he was about to get interrogated.

Wanting to get his peaceful rest he decided to ask them.

"May I know why you're all here?"
He signed of relief, as they didn't seems to be offended by his question.
But as they all turn to him, they first took a glance at each other, quietly communicating.

They all then turned away from him. He got confused by their reaction. Was there something wrong with his face? Why were they avoiding his direction.

He kept staring at them confused. Izou who couldn't resist the stare, gave up and took a deep breath before exhaling. He and Izou made eye contact, but he couldn't see his full face because Izou was using his fan to cover his lower face.
