Chapter 8

(Natsu's POV, In the morning)

I woke up around 7:00 o'clock in the morning. When I looked at (Y/N), I noticed that she was still asleep. I yawned and pulled her closer to me and inhaled her scent. 'She smells like cinnamon and candy..' I thought as I smiled. I then closed my eyes and went back to sleep.

(Y/N's POV, 1 hour later)

I woke up unpleasantly to the sound of a camera going off. I opened my eyes and looked in-front of my to see Lucy, Wendy,Carla, Erza and Gray. When I saw Gray holding a camera, I gave all of them my signature death glare that made all of them run out of our room in fear, even Erza ran out. I sighed and looked down at the ground to find that Gray dropped the camera. I then nudged Natsu with my elbow.

"Natsu, wake up." I said with annoyance in my voice. "Ngh.. Five more minutes.." He said as he pulled me even more closer to him. "No Natsu. Wake up now." I said with more annoyance in my voice. Natsu immediately woke up and released me as soon as he heard the annoyance in my voice. I got out of the bed and grabbed my clothes to change.

"Geez, what got you all annoyed?" Natsu asked as he sat up and rubbed his eyes as he looked at me. "I got woken up by a camera going off and I didn't get enough sleep." I replied as I gave him my glare which made him go back under the covers from fear. I smirked and changed quickly into an outfit that I bought yesterday. (The photo that I tagged on the first page.)

After Natsu and I changed, we woke up Alice and Happy and went out of our room and to Erza's and Gray's room to walk over to the man's house that requested the job. When we walked in, all of them gulped once they saw me since they were still frightened from what happened earlier. I gave them a look that said 'Never speak of what happened to Natsu or anyone.'. All of us then walked out of the room and the hotel to go speak to the man.

"(Y/N), what did you do to Erza, Gray, Lucy, Carla and Wendy to make them not walk close to you?" Natsu asked me as we approached. "Don't worry about it Pinkie. I just did something to make sure that they never disturb my sleep ever again." I replied as I smirked which made Natsu move get away from me.

Erza then knocked on the door of the man's house. After a couple of seconds, the door opened to reveal a short looking middle aged man. "May I help you?" He asked. "We're the wizards from Fairy Tail." Erza said nicely as she looked at the man. "Ah yes. Please come in." The man said as he opened the door for us and lead us to his living room, making us sit down.

"My name is Farlo McHaven, but you can just call me Farlo. As I described on the flyer, there are 30 monsters terrorizing this town." Farlo said. "But we haven't seen any monsters here.." Wendy said with uncertainty in her voice. "That's because they only come out around 12:00, on Tuesdays. I'm not really sure why though." Farlo said.

"Today is Tuesday so they must be coming out soon since it's already 11:00." Gray said. "They come out in the middle of the town which is where we are right now." Farlo said. "Then we must be going." Erza said as she stood up along with everyone else. 'I really hope he isn't here.. But being the idiot he is, he's probably with the other guys trying to find me..' I thought as we said goodbye and left.

"..Wendy and (Y/N) will be the bait and when the monsters come out, the rest of us will come out from our hiding spots and attack them. Everybody ready?" Erza asked as everybody else nodded besides me. "(Y/N) are you listening? (Y/N)!" Erza exclaimed. "Yeah. I know, Wendy and I are the bait." I said absentmindedly.

Wendy and I were standing around in the middle of the town, waiting for the monsters to show up. I then felt a huge wave of magic show up. "(Y/N).. T-They're here.." Wendy said nervously as we both looked up. "NOW!" I exclaimed which made the rest of Team Natsu come out.

"Take out as many monsters as you can! So go!" Erza said as we all started attacking monsters.

"(Y/N), I'll help you!" Natsu said as he started to help me defeat my first monster. "No Natsu! I can do this, plus you haven't seen what I'm capable of! Now please go defeat your own monsters!" I said as pushed him away and started up my magic. After he walked off, I started fighting. Everybody wanted to watch me fight, so they defeated their share of monsters to watch. The monster swung it's fist at me quickly.

"Earth Dragon Iron Fist!" I said as I swung my fist to collide with the monsters fist. When they collided, there was a loud boom and dust surrounded us. When the dust cleared, I was still standing unfazed but the monster was down on the ground, defeated. I looked around and saw everyone, except Alice, with their mouths wide open. I then defeated the rest of my share of monsters with one hit.

Once I was done, the rest of Team Natsu came running and flying up to me! "(Y/N), that was so cool!" Wendy, Lucy and Happy said excitedly. "(Y/N)! Fight me when we get back to the guild!" Natsu said while grinning.

Erza and Gray nodded in agreement to Natsu's proposal. We then heard slow clapping coming towards us and when we looked around, there was the person and the group I dreaded to see.

"Yes, very cool indeed (Y/N)." The person that wore a cloak, that covered their face said as they came closer to me. Natsu tried to step in-front of me, but I pushed him aside. "Don't even try getting close to Alice and I." I said as Alice landed on my shoulder while shaking slightly. I stepped in-front of Team Natsu and heard Natsu explain to them about who the group was, but not the other person since he didn't know who it was.

"You can keep your useless cat. We just want you. So be a good girl before we have to hurt you and your little friends." He said as he took a step closer. My fist then got engulfed in fire. "I said don't take a step closer to me, you traitor!" I shouted at him. He then shook his head in amusement.

"Traitor? Shouldn't I be the one calling you that? My dear idiotic sister." The person said as he took of his cloak revealing his face. I then heard gasps come from Team Natsu. "(Y/N).. Is that.. Your-"

"Yes. That person is my brother."
