Chapter 30

(3rd PoV)
(Y/N) walked into the guild with her head still down. "Mama!" Zach exclaimed as he ran to her. He hugged her legs as (Y/N) looked at him. "Go say bye to grandpa and Team Natsu. We're going home." Zach nodded and ran off. Natsu then came up to (Y/N), "Hey babe." He said to (Y/N) as he smiled. "Hey Natsu" (Y/N) said with a dull voice. "Can I crash at your place again tonight?" He asked. (Y/N) shook her head, "Not tonight Natsu. I'm busy tonight. Sorry." She said as Zach came back. "I'm ready mama! Oh! Bye Natsu!" Zach said as he waved at Natsu and held (Y/N)'s hand. Natsu chuckled and waved back. "It's okay, I'll see you tomorrow." Natsu said as he pecked (Y/N)'s cheek and left.

Once (Y/N) and Zach were home, (Y/N) sat Zach down in the living room. "Zach, we need to talk, okay?" She said.

(Your PoV)
'For this to work, Zach needs to know..' "Okay mama. What do you want to talk about?" Zach asked as he looked at me. I then began to tell him the plan. "... That's why we need to do this.. Okay Zach?" I finished saying. Zach nodded slowly, "Okay mama.. I understand. When are we doing this?" He asked. I sighed and smiled slightly. "In about 5 months. I need to train you right?" I asked as Zach nodded rapidly. "Yay! Mama is going to train me!" He cheered. "And if you want, Natsu can also help train you. Is that okay?" I asked as Zach and I stood up. "Yeah! I like Natsu!" He said excitedly. "Okay, well let me tell him to come so we can start today. I'll meet you in the backyard, okay?" I said. "Okay!" Zach replied as he ran to the backyard. I then contacted Natsu with my telepathy. 'Natsu, get your ass to my house, I need you to help me train Zach.' "I'm already here." I heard him say. I looked towards the stairs and saw him coming down. "Natsu! Were you in my room?!" I asked as he nodded. I shook my head and sighed. "Anyways, come on. Lets head outside. Zach is already there." I said as Natsu nodded again and we headed outside.

(5 months later, 3rd PoV)
Over the past few months, Zach turned 8 and improved his magic by a lot.
(Y/N) and Zach just walked into the guild when Team Natsu came up to them. "How about we go on a job today? Everyone else said yes." Erza asked (Y/N). She nodded, "Sure, but can Zach and I pick it out?" (Y/N) asked. Erza nodded, so Zach and (Y/N) went to the job request board. "What about this one mama?" Zach asked as he gave (Y/N) a flyer. She nodded and looked at Zach, "Yeah, this is a good one.". They both then went back to Team Natsu and gave Erza the flyer. Erza read the flyer and nodded, "We have to defeat about 3 huge monsters in a town. The reward is.. 5,000,000 jewels..!". Zach and (Y/N) only nodded while Gray, Natsu, Happy, Lucy, Wendy and Carla were shocked. "Those monsters must be hard to defeat if they're offering that much money to defeat them." Gray said. "I'm all fired up now!" Natsu said. "We leave in 30 minutes so go home and pack. Meet up at the train station." Erza said as they all left. Zach and (Y/N) didn't even bother to go home, since we always pack in advance for jobs, all (Y/N) had to do is teleport their stuff when they got to their destination.

Once everyone arrived at the train station and we boarded to train. (Y/N) felt like she forgot something. 'I'm forgetting something.. I can feel it.' She thought. (Y/N) then heard the sound of Natsu barfing out of the window. 'Oh. That's what I forgot!' She thought. (Y/N) quickly cast the motion-sickness spell on him. Natsu stopped barfing and looked at her. "Thanks (Y/N)!" He said as he leaned close to her. (Y/N) moved away, "Don't even think about kissing me. You just barfed." She said as everyone chuckled, except Lucy. "Aw.." Natsu said as he pouted. (Y/N) shrugged and leaned on his shoulder and fell asleep.

(2 hours later, Your PoV)
I woke up slowly by someone shaking me gently. "Mama? Mama, wake up, we're here." I heard Zach say. "I wouldn't do that if I were you Zach." I heard Lucy say. I opened my eyes and saw Zach. I yawned and stood up. "I'm up, I'm up." I said as I stretched. Everyone, except Zach, gasped. "What?" I asked. "You're not mad at Zach for waking you up?" Natsu asked. I shook my head as we all left the train. "Nope." I said. They all sweatdropped, except Zach who had no idea what was going on.

They all entered the hotel they were supposed to stay at and checked in. Lucy was with Wendy and Carla, Erza with Gray, Natsu and Happy had their own room and Zach I had our own rooms. Everyone went to their rooms to leave their luggage while Zach and I stayed in the lobby since I already teleported our luggage from our house to our room. "Mama, can you teach me teleportation magic and some of the other magic you know?" Zach asked as he looked up at me. I smiled slightly and nodded, "I will, but after our plan, okay?". Zach nodded and smiled sadly. "Do we really have to do this mama? It seems kinda mean to our friends.." Zach asked. "Yeah, I'm sorry Zach.. But we have to do this." I said as I heard the elevator ding and out came Team Natsu. We all went out of the hotel and walked towards the woman's house. 'Now that I think about it.. This place seems familiar.' As we neared the woman's house, I heard people whispering. "Hey, isn't that the Empress Heroine Wizard?" "Why is she here again?" "And are those her friends?" "Is that her kid?" I heard them say. I then put on the hood of my cloak. Since I got Zach a cloak that looked like mine, I put the hood of his cloak on his head. I stayed outside of the woman's house while everyone else, including Zach, went inside. 'I remember now.. This is the town that Alice died in.. Her grave is here..' I heard multiple footsteps coming towards me. "Um excuse me? You're the Empress Heroine Wizard right?" A female voice asked. I looked up and nodded. "Well, the tree where you buried you cat in front of is being removed.." The lady said just as Team Natsu and Zach stepped out of the house. "What?!" I said as I started running towards Alice's grave, with Team Natsu, Zach and the lady in tow.

"Y/N), slow down! Where are you going?" Natsu asked. I ignored him and saw the tree. They were wizards all around the tree. I pushed threw the crowd and made my way to the front, along with Zach and Team Natsu. The people that wanted to remove the tree were making a ruckus. "What the hell?! Why can't we get closer to the tree and those damn flowers?!" One of them shouted. "Because I put a force field around it, idiots." I said as I stepped into the force field, with my head down and the hood of my cloak hiding my face. I was the only one that is able to go into the force field since I was the one who made it. "Then remove it, girl. We're removing the tree and the flowers. If you don't remove it, then you're gonna be in big trouble with us. I looked up and everyone gasped. "Excuse me? Do you even know who I am?" I asked darkly. "W-We're sorry m'am! We didn't know that put up this force field. Why did you put it up anyway..?" They said and asked nervously. "Because right in front of this tree is a grave. My best friend is buried here. Now get away from here before I make you!" I shouted. They all fled away in fear, besides my friends and Zach. "(Y/N).. Is this where Alice is buried?" Erza asked. I nodded and looked at Alice's grave. "Yeah.. I put a force field around the tree and grave so no one could mess with it." I said. The ground then started to shake. While Team Natsu was getting into position to attack, Zach and I looked at each other and nodded. Zach and I then secured our cloaks around us and took off our hoods. The monsters appeared and we started fighting them, even Zach.
