Chapter 10

(Natsu's POV, 4 hours later)

I've been awake the whole train ride back. The train stopped and everyone else woke up except (Y/N).

I'll carry her back to the guild Natsu." Gray offered but I stood up and picked up (Y/N), bridal style. "I got her." I said as we all got our stuff and got off of the train. We then headed towards the guild.

Once we got to the guild, I immediately went towards the guild infirmary and placed (Y/N) down on a bed as someone took care of her. The rest of us were taken care of too since we were all hurt. After we were taken care of, I sat in a chair next to (Y/N) as she slept. "Natsu, the rest of us are going home to get some more rest. You should go home too." Lucy said as she placed hand on my shoulder.

"I'll stay here and wait until (Y/N) wakes up. Take Happy and Alice with you so they can rest." I said. "Okay.. Bye Natsu. Come on Alice and Happy." Lucy said as they all left.

I looked at (Y/N) and held one of her hands. "You worried me so much, (Y/N).. You idiot." I said as I looked down.

"..You're the idiot for worrying about me, Pinkie." I heard her say. I quickly looked up and chuckled.

(Your POV)

'He was worried about me?'

I felt something on my hand, looked down, and blushed.

'He's holding my hand?'

I heard him chuckle. "You look cute when you blush." Natsu said as he smiled. "Sh-Shush.." I said, flustered. "I'll be right back (Y/N)." He said as he stood up. "Okay.." I said as he exited the infirmary.

'I've always liked Natsu.. Ever since we were kids, I've always had feelings for him.. Even Alice is starting to warm up to him.'

I heard cheers and yells come from outside the door.

'What the heck..?' I thought as Natsu came back into the infirmary. "I'm back." He said as he smiled nervously. "What's wrong Natsu?" I asked as I looked at him worryingly. "Can I tell you something, (Y/N)?" Natsu asked. "Of course you can, Pinkie!" I replied.
He then took a deep breath.

"(Y/N), when you came back, I was really happy. But when you slapped me and told me what happened to you these past couple of years, I was mad. Like really mad. When I followed you and Alice and heard what happened from behind that tree, I felt really guilty for leaving you. Then when you told me that you were a Dragon Slayer, I didn't know what to feel.." Natsu said sadly as he looked at the ground. I tightened my hand around his. "I was happy that you were a dragon slayer like me..! But I was also mad that you kept that from me. Then you told me that you kept wanting to tell me but I kept interrupting you.." He said as he looked up at me.

"Natsu, what are you trying to say?" I asked as I sat up slowly. "I'm trying to say that I love you, (Y/N)!" He said loudly as he clutched my hand.

(3rd POV)
(Y/N) blushed hard and smiled. "I love you too, Natsu." She said softly. Natsu then bent down and kissed her passionately. They then pulled away from lack of breath. "I didn't know you were such a good kisser (Y/N)." Natsu said as he smirked. "Sh-Shush..! I could say the same for you Natsu." (Y/N) said as she blushed. He chuckled. "(Y/N), would you be my girlfriend?" Natsu asked as he smiled his signature smile. "Of course I would." (Y/N) said as she grinned. "Yes!" He said as he picked her up carefully and headed towards the door.

"Natsu! Where are you going?!" (Y/N) asked frantically. Natsu opened the door and stood on the balcony. "She said yes!" He exclaimed to everyone. The guild erupted in yells and cheers. Even though the rest of Team Natsu wasn't there, that didn't mean that the guild couldn't celebrate.

(Natsu's POV)

'She said yes! (Y/N)'s my girlfriend now!' I thought as I ran down the steps and set (Y/N) down in a chair. "Natsu, what did you tell them..?!" She said while blushing. "I just told them that I was going to ask you to be my girlfriend! That's why I went out of the room." I asked happily. "Natsu! You didn't have to tell them that!" She said frantically. "Yes I did..! I wanted them to know that you're mine!" I said while grinning. "Y-You idiot.." (Y/N) said while blushing more.

"Yeah, but I'm your idiot..!"
