Chapter 32

(5 years later, 3rd PoV)
It's been exactly 5 years since the death of (Y/N) and Zach (L/N). It's November 24, the day of their death. Everyone at the guild disliked this day, especially a certain pink haired dragon slayer. Natsu usually stayed home on his day, but he decided he would go to the guild today. "It's been 5 years.. I can't believe it. 5 years and I still haven't moved on.." Natsu said as he entered the guild. "Hey Natsu" Lucy greeted. "Hey Lucy." Natsu greeted back dully as he and Lucy sat down at the Team Natsu table. "Where is everyone?" Natsu asked. "We're here. Don't get your panties in a twist Fire Breath." Gray said as he, Erza and Wendy arrived at the table and sat down. "If you two fight today, I will smash both of your skulls." Erza said darkly. Gray and Natsu both nodded quickly. Just then, a Phoenix made out of fire flew in, holding a piece of paper. "Whoa.." Everyone said. The Fire Phoenix flew upstairs and into Masters office. "That was weird.." Lucy said as they all nodded.

(Your PoV)
Zach and I were wearing our masks that we got 5 years ago. Today was the 5th year anniversary of our 'supposed' death. I was 25 and Zach was 13. "Mom, are we almost there?" He asked as he looked at me through his mask. Zach's mask was made up of different shades of blue, his favorite color. His mask covered his whole face. I nodded, "Yeah, we're almost there. I already sent the letter for Master Makarov by a Fire Phoenix I created." I said through my mask. My mask was white, but with black designs. "Do you think they will recognize our voices?" Zach asked as we stopped at the sign that read "Welcome to Magnolia!". 'This brings back memories..' "I doubt it. You are no longer the little 8 year old boy. So you don't have the same voice. Plus with these masks, our voices will sound different." I said as we both put on the hoods of our cloaks and started to walk to Fairy Tail. We both got new cloaks so no one would recognize us. I also already both our old house in advance. But I doubt our stuff is still there. "Okay. Mom, what did you write in the letter to Master?" Zach asked as we stopped by a tree. "I wrote that it was us and that we weren't really dead. I told him that we would be coming back today but with masks on. Also that he does not mention to anyone that it's us. He is just going to say that we're old friends that wish not to reveal their names and identity." I said as he nodded and we stood in front of Fairy Tail. "But won't Natsu and the other dragon slayers be able to recognize our scent?" Zach asked. "No, because these cloaks hide our scents, so they won't be able to know that it's us." I said as he nodded. "It hasn't changed a bit. Right mom?" Zach said and asked. "Yeah. But Zach. Remember, do not-" I started. "Take off your mask at any costs. No matter what. Yes mom, I know." Zach finished as I heard him chuckle. "Aw, my little boy is growing up." I teased as I ruffled his hair. "Momm! Don't do that!" He whined as he fixed his hair. "Anyways, let's go in." I said as we opened the guild doors only to see two chairs, flying towards us. Zach and I sighed as we both punched the chairs.

Once the dust cleared, Master was near the entrance and so was Team Natsu. Except, Gray and Natsu was sitting on the floor next to Erza with bumps on their heads. 'Still the same idiots..' "You two chose the wrong day to fight! We have guests and today is the anniversary of you know who!" Erza said as she put her hands on her hips as Lucy, Wendy and Carla just sighed. 'She must be talking about our anniversary.' I thought as I glanced at Zach, who was looking at me. "Sorry for the commotion, Kyle and Liz! These two dim-wits fight all the time." Master said as he smiled. 'Kyle and Liz? Hm, I must be Liz.' "It's alright. Those two should know better though." I said through the mask. Master nodded in agreement. "Anyways, please come to my office so we can speak. This way." He said as he led Zach and I to his office.

"You two can take off your masks in here, no one will disturb us. It's been a while, (Y/N) and.. Zach? Is that really you child?" Master asked as he looked at Zach. Zach chuckled and nodded, "Yes, Master. It's me.". "Now (Y/N).. Why would you fake your death and Zach's death? We were all heartbroken.." Master asked as his voice saddened. "I'm sorry Master, but I had too. Magnolia brought up too many memories that I wish to forget. I am truly sorry Master." I said as I looked at the ground. "I understand child. But will you ever reveal your true identities? Nobody here has been the same since the accident. Especially Natsu." Master asked and said. I sighed, "We will, but not right now." I said as Zach and I put on our masks again. "Why are you putting your masks back on?" Master asked with a confused face. Zach and I pointed behind us, to the door. "3..2..1." We counted down as the door burst open, revealing Natsu at the doorway and the rest of Team Natsu behind him. Zach, Master and I stood up and faced them. Master sighed, "What do you want Natsu?". "I want to fight Kyle and Liz!" Natsu exclaimed. Master looked at us and I looked at Zach. "Are you up for it?" I asked him. He nodded and I nodded as well. "Yes!" Natsu exclaimed as we all sighed and went downstairs. While Erza announced that we were going to fight Natsu, we went outside to the back of the guild. "Who's gonna fight me first?" Natsu asked as he smirked and cracked his knuckles. "I will." Zach said as he and Natsu went towards the middle of the circle we all made. 'C'mon Zach.. Show him what you're made of!'

It was a tie between Natsu and Zach. A. Tie. Everyone except me was shocked. As Zach walked back towards me, I gave him a high five. "Great job. You did well." I praised as Zach smiled. I cracked my knuckles and went towards Natsu. "Don't go easy on me just because I'm a girl." I said. "Don't worry, I won't." Natsu said as he smirked. 'I can't use all of my magic or I'll be found out for sure. I'll just use Earth magic then.' Natsu threw the first punch, but I only stopped it with my hand. I flipped him easily then took a step back as he tried to trip me from the ground. He got up immediately and attacked. "Fire Dragon Roar!" He chanted. "Earth Twister." I said calmly as my twister ate Natsu's roar and attacked him. Once the dust cleared, Natsu was on the ground, knocked out. I chuckled on the inside. "The winner is Liz!" Master shouted. Everyone cheered as Natsu woke up. "You're strong! You and Kyle should join Team Natsu!" He offered. I shrugged, "Sure." I said dully.
