AUTHOR'S POV

As Yn stepped out of the car holding Ava in her arms, her eyes swept over the towering structure with its sleek steel frame and polished glass façade. It screamed importance and power—like it had been designed specifically to impress, intimidate, or maybe both.

VANTE fashion industry.

"Little miss, what are you thinking?" yn blinks, glancing at Robert.

"About his giant monument of capitalism," she smiles, walking towards the entrance of the building.

"Young master will take those words as an achievement," he voices out politely while guiding them in, making her chuckle.

The guards bow politely as she walks in, followed by Robert with curious Ava looking around with big eyes, grabbing the attention of passing people who coo at the little girl's cuteness.

She smiled even more; every time she visited here, she felt the weight of who he was. not just a cold face and soft heart for her but someone who was the beholder of a big empire.

But her smile dropped when she heard his voice in the distance, furious and colder, which made her frown.

Instead of walking towards the elevator, Yn followed the voice in the lobby with curiosity and worry.

"You shouldn't go there, little miss." Robert protests, but Yn lets her feet drag towards the crowd she saw from a distance.

"How the hell did that happen?" Taehyung barked, eyes sweeping the room like a spotlight looking for someone to burn as employees surrounded him. "Where was security? Where were any of you?"

A handful of employees stood frozen, exchanging nervous glances; it was rare to see him getting furious.

One of the guards opened his mouth to explain, but he cut him off with a harsh wave. "No. Don't start with excuses. You were supposed to be monitoring the north wing. What part of 24-hour surveillance is confusing to you?"

The guard shrank under the cold glare. Another technician tried to interject—something about a CCTV system fault—but he was already pacing, voice rising.

"This isn't a tech glitch. This is negligence. Someone was asleep at the wheel to let imposters get entered, and now we have a breach, an injuries, and a PR nightmare brewing on my head."
