Mind you I got the photo which describes the difference between taehyung and Aster which I always assumed while writing this whole book. It's adorable and perfectly UD type.

AUTHOR'S POV

Yn was not sure what she should feel when he told her she needs to see someone else too. She thought she was capable of watching that until she saw the state of Ethan. The reflection of the cruelty of the man standing beside her.

For him it was justice.

He stepped into the dark, packed cell of the basement from where the chained sound was coming earlier; the only source of light was from where they entered in, she froze. It felt like hell smelling, breathing, and existing in the heart of shadow's basement.

She heard the sound of barking from the darkness; it was not some puppy, dog, or animal. It was so human, so broken, like a desperate soul summoning a devil.

She looked at the source of the voice once taehyung turned on the single deep light of the room, allowing the faint glow to engulf the darkness if it could.

Her breath caught up in her throat when she took in the sight of the man lying on the floor. chained, leash tightly tugged on his throat. His whole body was filled with deep wounds, leaving less undamaged skin.

Yn felt sick, too sick when she understood it's ethan and he was barking, looking at taehyung, begging in desperation. She should have felt satisfied; she should have but all she felt was terror.

Horror of a person who did this to a man who once tried to do the same with her. She felt like she couldn't breathe. The sight of Ethan, less in clothes, with the bones of his ribcage showing off the hell he must have faced.

When Ethan noticed Yn, he tried to crawl towards her in desperation, which made her flinch; she abruptly stepped back, though Ethan couldn't move further due to all the chains that were on his body.

"Sit." The low, steady, and lethal command left from behind her the next moment, and yn wanted nothing but to run away when she noticed that Ethan obeyed in a heartbeat.

Her head snapped back towards the voice of him; he was just standing behind her on arm distance that she could feel the warmth of his body.

He was standing there, hands tucked deep in pants pockets, veins of arms flexing even so effortlessly, staring at Ethan with nothing but coldness. Pleased with what he had made, like a sculptor appreciating his sculpture.
