First, I just want to say how deeply grateful I am to every single one of you who waits patiently for my updates without turning into drama queens, who buys the chapters the moment they drop (that means so much right now, especially since I’m not working due to health reasons seriously, you’re feeding both my soul and my unemployed self lol)
And to those chaotic angels who make multiple accounts just to boost the votes. Trust me, I see you, and I adore you for it. U’all deserve front-row seats in heaven actually. You all are the heartbeat behind this story.
But lately, there’s been a small ache in my heart. We get around 7k views within ten days, yet the votes barely cross 500. That means thousands are reading and hopefully enjoying, smiling along with it but quietly slipping away without leaving a trace. Why, tho? Why no vote if you like it enough to stay till the end?
You see, votes don’t pay bills or write chapters, but emotionally, they matter. They tell me someone’s out there, cheering, waiting, feeling. They remind me that my sleepless nights and long writing hours are worth it. When those numbers fall, it’s not about greed, it’s about losing a bit of hope.
I could easily make my little world smaller—write only for those 500 who always show up, always support, and I know they’d follow me anywhere. But I don’t, because I love even the quiet ones too. Still, don’t make me regret that softness, okay? A single tap on that vote button might not mean much to you, but to me, it means everything.

YN'S POV
"Why do you need jieun?" I am startled by a sudden voice and gather my comforter more on my legs and bed.
I looked up at him blankly and told him. "None of your business." I muttered flatly while dialing my brother's number, which was out of reach, just like jieun which frustrated me more.
"Don't be a brat." He warned while snatching my phone, which made me look at him in irritation.
"You are mature enough, right? Then just leave my room."
"Tell me," he demanded with a pointed look.
"You tell me where Jieun is, or you can leave." He sighs, the kind of sigh where he is trying to hold back from saying something he shouldn't and looks at me with an unimpressed look.
"She went to her home. I sent jungkook with her. Now you tell me what's the matter?" shit! no. my face paled as I frowned. I glanced up at him but was reminded of how yesterday he sat me down on the same bed and declared that we are getting a divorce—even after everything that we had spoken about, which made me lose the chance to ask for his help.
