SHADOW'S POV

The effect of alcohol was still hammering in my head with the hot water from shower roll down my body. I glance at her who had just taken a shower before me, walking weird before getting out of the bathroom.

Should have listen to me when I offered to give a nice bath after our session in pool.

I smirk faintly and ran my fingers through my wet hair and got out of the shower. I bit my inner cheek and shook my head at the hangover and tipsiness I felt in my head.

I wrapped towel around my waist, not bothering much to dry myself and went inside closet to get my night suit.

I wore my sweatpants and before wearing night shirt grunt in annoyance when the buttons of my shirt start playing roulette with my eyesight.

I suddenly remember my manager buzzing over my head with a quote about 'not drink beyond limit or it makes a human useless' I understood now whom he was taunting.

I grit my teeth and was about to shrug off the shirt but those small hands, like a saviour those little hands found the fabric of my shirt.

I close my eyes for long moment to steady myself before looking down at her, she was calm, there was no edge of complaining line on her face as she started buttoning my shirt buttons.

The action itself made me feel something in my stomach, fucking liquor is a reason of something as delusional as butterflies to flutter in there.

I am gonna cut wings of those shits as a first thing after getting sober up.

"You don't have lines of complain?" I couldn't help but ask, tilting my head slightly and held her chin to make her look at me.

Artificial intelligence says wife gets mad if a man come home wasted but here she looks anything but mad.

Either I have wrong AI technology or defected wife.

Or maybe-

"Complain about what?" She asked while looking up at me.
