Honestly, this is probably the best thing that's ever happened to me.

I'm reading this email and thinking, 'wow, and I didn't even have to show them my tits!'. That's kind of a horrible thing to say, but you get the picture. I'm quite literally staring at what could possibly be the biggest career opportunity I've ever received.

I finished typing my response, leaning back in my chair as I grinned. My arms instinctively wrapped around my sides, almost like I was hugging myself from sheer excitement. My smile faded slowly and I huffed a laugh, taking it all in.

I pulled out my phone, opening up my messages to text my best friend, Perry.

I: You won't believe what just happened to me. ;)

P: Hmm.. what happened??

I: Just got an email from my idols..

P: ... You're joking- the Yogs?

I: Not joking!!! They asked me to be a part of the network!

P: Ee! That's crazy.. so happy for you! 

I: I'm so excited.. :)

P: Maybe your little crush on Alsmiffy will become a reality, hmm? c;

I: Repeat after me; *ahem* JUST BECAUSE I'M GOING TO BE WORKING WITH HIM DOES NOT MEAN WE WILL BE DATING.

P: Pfft. Whatever you say. I'm still shipping Smio.

I: You're impossible, you know? :\

P: But you have to love me! <3

I: I guess.. Just a little bit though!

I: Okay, I really need to finish up editing a few videos. Text you when I get more details.

P: Later!

I set my phone on my desk, resuming my editing. Turns out, it's really hard to concentrate when you just got some of the best news of your life. I was going to get a few videos done for the next few days so I wouldn't have to worry about stressing over my schedule, but after starting on tomorrow's video, I knew that was not going to happen.

I saved what progress I actually did have, closed out and headed over to YouTube to upload. After I finished, I sat back and pulled up Sips' Garry's Mod playlist- a favorite of mine. I'd probably watched each of these at least nine times, but for some reason they were still some of my favorite videos.

Most of the time, I didn't pay much attention to the actual video. They were honestly more like podcasts to me; I listened to them in the backround when I was doing other things- editing, checking comments, etc. Even without the videos, it was hilarious to hear the guys all screaming about anything that popped into their heads.

Cheesy, I know. But these people inspired me to do what I do, and I will never be able to thank them enough.

Enough sappy talk. Time to rewatch the entire Hat Pack series!

After, er, several hours of getting absolutely nothing done (besides maybe paying the guy who delivered my takeout). Whoops. I lay on my bed scrolling through my twitter feed. Turns out a few members of the Yogs had already tweeted stuff along the lines of "surprise coming up for you guys VERY soon!", and other things in that area.

Even Alex Smith posted something.

It was so nice to see the replies, all so oblivious to a new member. It really was going to be a surprise.

I decided to post a quick tweet before heading off to bed.

After I put my phone on the charger, I just stayed there for a while, staring at the ceiling. 'Cause you know what I learned today? It's pretty hard to do anything when you have some of the best news ever still buzzing in your brain.
