S3 E6: The Devil Is In The Tails (part 1)

The scene opens to the Grim as the Sonia variants peel out to the top of the tower and lands opposite Nine. In a versus split screen, they growl and go to tackle each other. A shockwave bursts from the tower, blowing them back, but they stay standing on the tower.

Rebel Blu: "Nine, enough. We can still end this."

Lapis: "Whoa!"

Rebel Blu is forced to dodge Nine's bullet attacks by Lapis.

Sonia: "Together."

They dodge another series of bullets.

Tails Nine: "*Annoyed* Together?"

Nine floats up while the four hedgehogs peel out around the tower.

Tails Nine: "You only care about getting back to your precious Green Hill."

Nine fires more bullets down to the edge on the tower, causing Sonic to halt.

Sonia: "I care about all of this. You, the Shatterverse, the other me's, and everyone inside of it. I know you do too."

Willow: "And with that Prism power-"

Tails Nine: "*Interrupting* Is my ticket to protecting my new world. Once I take the remaining Prism energy that's in you, the Grim will be saved. Look around. *the Sonia variants turn back* You've already lost and you don't even know it. Your so-called friends won't be doing any more fighting. Meanwhile, my army has one purpose: To get your energies."

Grim Birdies fly up towards the tower and shoot at Sonia and Lapis. Lapis leaps off part of the structure, Sonia spin attacks one of them and lands on another, looking at Nine.

Sonia: "It's gonna take more than just a few knockoff robots to slow us down."

Rebel Blu jumps off at the opportune moment to defeat a Grim Birdie using its own bullet. It spin attacks three more of them. Nine grunts as Sonia and her counterparts lands back on the tower. Nine points its mechanical tails and gathers energy from the Paradox energy beam.

Tails Nine: "Need... more... power!"

The dome fluctuates, with purple rocks appearing in the starry sky. Inside the tower, the Paradox Prism starts shaking. On the ground, grim robots flicker and restore power.

Willow: "*Off-screen* It's working. They're losing power."

Alpha Grim Sonia's eyes open. Rebel Blu watches on and Tails continues generating prism energy. The dome starts shrinking, with battlefield crystals disappearing through the dome's edge.

Rebel Blu: "Sure you can handle all that juice, pal?"

Nine turns to Rebel Blu, with its mechanical tails glowing white. It shoots at the Sonia variants, causing them to fall off the tower. The four scream as they head towards the spiky crystals at the bottom of the citadel.

Tails Nine: "*To the Grim Birdies* Let the four fall, but catch them before they hit the spire. *They swoop down* I need that energy."

As the Sonia variants continue falling, Sonia's shoes start glowing. They land on appearing panel tiles to avoid the spikes.

Sonia: "Huh? I was wondering what these puppies do in this place. *They appear when she puts her foot down*"

Rebel Blu: "Well then, let's do some fancy footwork with this."

They peel out along the tiles. Grim Birdies attack them. Willow ducks under to dodge one of them and Sonia jumps over the other one. Rebel Blu starts spinning along the tiles and Homing Attacks both of them. They peel around towards the tower at the top of the citadel and Sonia looks at Nine.
