I had spent most of that night explaining everything that happened to Jacob. Even now, I was lying down on his bed with his arm around me. I was sniffling a little bit still and he peppered small kisses over the back of my shoulder. A small sigh left my lips and he pulled me closer towards his body.
"For what it's worth, she doesn't think that you're a mistake. You know that." Jacob said to me with a soft voice that made me smile a bit, "No one would ever think that you were a mistake."
"She wants me to break up with you, Jacob." I told him after I turned around so that I was facing him, admitting the only part of the argument that I hadn't told him about.
"What? That's ridiculous. Why would she want us to break up?"
"She thinks we're getting too serious."
"But I thought she would be happy. Everyone seemed like they wanted us to be together."
"I thought so too. But apparently, my mother and Charlie both think that we're crazy." I mumbled with tracing patterns onto his chest.
"They'll come around to the idea of us eventually. I'm sure it's nothing for us to worry about."
"I really hope you're right."
"Do you think that your dad knows about us?"
"It's probably safe to assume that my mother told him around the time she heard you sneaking me out of my bedroom."
"We didn't make noise though, did we? I thought we were actually pretty quiet."
"There might have been a thud when you jumped in."
"Well, you didn't have to argue with me over whether or not you needed to bring that many possible outfit combinations."
"I like to have options."
"You're insane."
"I am. But, you love me, so I think you might be in the asylum along with me."
"I know it's only eight, but you should get to sleep. I have to get going with the guys."
"Alright. Have fun. Don't kill any vampires." I teased playfully, making him roll his eyes.
"I try my hardest to refrain from killing the ones that you're friendly with."
"I guess that's a good compromise."
He got up and pulled off his shirt then his jeans before placing a kiss to my lips gently. I kissed back and looked into his pretty dark eyes when he pulled away from me. He said a quick 'I love you' to me before slipping out of his bedroom window, making me sigh before I cuddled up to his pillows and went to sleep out of boredom.
In fact, I didn't wake up until the next morning when I heard Jacob's bedroom door open. I whined a bit and cuddled my face closer into his buff chest.
"Hannah?" I heard my mother's familiar voice call, making me pout a bit while Jacob's arms tightened around me protectively.
"Go away. I'm sleeping." I grumbled in an annoyed tone that made her scoff.
"This doesn't look like you broke up with him."
"What are you doing here?"
"I've been looking for you since I heard you sneaking out of your bedroom last night."
"I knew we were too loud." Jacob mumbled softly, making me stifle a laugh since I had assumed that he was still sound asleep.
"I should have expected that you'd be here." My mother said with the same whiny tone in her voice, completely ignoring the fact that Jacob had said anything to her.
"It definitely would've been a smart place to check considering the fact that I literally don't go anywhere else."
"Don't get smart with me."
"Should I apologize?"
"No. You should get out of that bed."
"That's definitely not happening before nine thirty."
"Get up. We need to go home and talk as a family."
"Please just leave me alone. It's like eight in the morning. Please. You can yell at me when I'm fully conscious." I told her while still whining before I realized what she had actually said, "Wait, as a family?"
"Your father is at home waiting for us since Charlie is on his fishing trip."
"Tell me you're joking?"
"I wish I was. I wish it didn't have to come to this."
"So do I."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"It's supposed to mean that you're acting like a lunatic. I'm not doing anything wrong. Just relax."
"I'm leaving. I want you walking in through my front door within fifteen minutes."
"But-"
"-fifteen minutes." She stormed out of the room, slamming the door shut behind her and I whined before cuddling up closer to Jacob even though I knew that I should start getting out of bed.
"We have fifteen minutes." Jacob mumbled, making me pout as he reminded me, "We should get up. I'll drive you there."
"Please don't make me go." I told him, whining and holding onto him while he chuckled and played with my hair a little bit.
"You should probably put on some pants and I should probably put on a shirt."
"Fine."
I got up and pulled some clothes on since, like usual, I had kicked off my sweatpants while I was sleeping because it was so hot to sleep beside Jacob. He pulled on jeans and a plain grey t-shirt while I slid on some black leggings and one of his long sleeve shirts. I was way more interested in being warm than in looking cute. I dragged my feet while I followed him out to his bright car.
AN: I didn't realize until recently, but there are quite a few chapters left and I just hope that everyone has been enjoying it so far! I would definitely love some more comments!!!!
