I was so busy cuddling and hanging out with Jacob that night that neither one of us noticed my parents coming home. In fact, they managed to get upstairs and get towards my room without me even realizing. Jacob was laying down in my bed on his back and I was laying with my head on his chest. His arm wrapped around me and his hand landed casually on my hip. I looked over towards the doorway when I heard someone clearing their throat. Jacob and I both looked up to see my mother and Charlie standing right in front of Edward and Bella. They were sizing Bella for her bridesmaid dress since I had already gotten sized for mine yesterday. I blushed softly and Edward chuckled while Charlie raised an eyebrow.

"Well, I guess you two managed to make up?" Bella teased in the sisterly manner that I had definitely grown used to since I moved here with my mother.

"Yes, actually. We had a nice conversation." I explained a bit while I looked back up at Jacob and a soft smile graced my lips.

I slid out of his embrace and sat up slightly so I was more comfortable speaking to everyone.

"Yeah, I told her everything and I apologized for being an ass." Jacob continued to explain with his eyes glued to my every movement, making everyone else in the room other than me nod in understanding.

"And you, for some reason, had to apologize to her in her bed?" Charlie asked over-protectively while looking over the two of us with a bit of worried look spread across his face as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"Technically, he apologized downstairs." I mumbled in defense.

"The fact that you two just kinda casually ended up here in your bed while you were home alone doesn't really help your case, Hannah." Charlie added, making Edward and Bella laugh slightly.

"Charlie," Jake whined, "there was a lot to tell her and she needed to sit down to handle everything. Remember how shocking it all is for some people?"

"Oh, so you told her that you're a wolf? I kinda just assumed that she knew like everyone else did." Charlie said easily as if it was common knowledge, making me pout since I didn't realize that literally everyone knew about this but me when he made it seem like I was the one that needed to know.

"Jacob, you told me that it was a secret." I whined more and Charlie chuckled while Jacob groaned as I nudged him even though he didn't even budge.

"Oops, we'll leave the two of you alone so Jacob can explain himself again." My mother said before shushing everyone away so they would all turn to go downstairs as my mother closed my bedroom door behind them all.

I sat up a bit and looked at Jacob expectantly. It was kinda annoying that we had so many issues because of this secret and now I find out that basically my whole family knew before I did even though Jacob claimed to be my soul mate. Everyone knew before I had even met Jacob. It obviously wasn't that big of a secret. Jacob shrugged as if it wasn't a bit deal and he couldn't exactly understand why I was looking at him. I groaned again and nudged him, making him chuckle and pull my body towards his again.

"When Bella was pregnant, she kept Charlie out of the loop. I thought he deserved to know so I phased in front of him. That way, it would be a lot easier for him to understand some of it." He explained simply, just making him more confused because now Bella was involved in all of this.

"What does Bella being pregnant have to do with anything else?"

"You don't know?"

"Know what?"

"Shit," Jacob sighed and rubbed his eyes as if he was trying to find a good way to tell me something, "Remember before when I told you that the cold ones were real too? The vampires?"

"Are you seriously trying to tell me that my step-sister is a vampire?"

"Her, her husband, and the whole Cullen family."

"W-what about-"

"-Nessie isn't a vampire, but she's kinda like a hybrid. We don't really know what to call her. There's not exactly politically correct terms for things like this."

"How would she be a hybrid?"

"Well, Bella got pregnant and gave birth while she was technically still human. Edward knocked her up as a vampire. It kinda goes either way."

"So they're like legit vampires? Like they drink blood and terrorize towns?"

"I think you've been watching too many bad teen dramas on Netflix."

"Am I wrong?"

"You're half wrong. They're good guys. They really don't go after people."

"I can't handle all of this. If you keep talking, I'm gonna need a drink or two."

"Would you feel better if I take you out? Not like a date, of course, but we can go down to La Push and hang out. We could watch some movies, maybe have a drink," he started to say, "and if you happen to get drunk and take your pants off in my bedroom, that's okay too."

I laughed a bit but nodded. Even though he had just admitted so much to me, Jacob was still my best friend in my mind and I knew I'd enjoy myself if I hung out with him. But I was still really worried that this whole imprinting nonsense would change the dynamics of our relationship.

"Except for that last part where I take your virginity, hanging out with you right now would be amazing." I told him in a joking tone, making him roll his eyes playfully.

I pulled my jacket on and walked downstairs with Jacob behind me. The four of them were sitting in the kitchen talking about the wedding. It was coming so fast. I felt like it would be here in a blink. Alice, Edward's sister and Bella's best friend, was helping them to plan the wedding and she'd be over soon with the rest of the Cullen family. It was kinda cool, everyone was becoming one big family and I knew it was really all that my mother wanted.

"Where are you two going?" Edward asked with a teasing tone in his voice once we were downstairs and heading towards the front door, "Hot date in La Push?"

"We're gonna go hang out at Jake's house while all of you enjoy wedding planning." I explained with a shrug while opening the front door.

I walked out of the house after quickly saying goodbye to everyone and Jacob followed behind me. We got into his shiny red car that he had worked so hard to rebuild then he sped to his place that was just a few minutes away.
