I drive till I reach the end of the road, and Austin looks like he's gonna throw up. I look around and see absolutely nothing.

"Hey, what was supposed to be down here?" I ask, confused as to why he wanted me to come down this way, but he shushes me and looks farther out the window into the woods surrounding us, which looks really creepy since the sun set about a hour ago.

He opens the car door but I grab his arm. "What are you doing?" I hiss at him; he's been acting weird all night.

"I thought I heard something, I'll be right back," he replies, pulling his arm out of my grasp and closing the car door. I sit there, arms crossed and feet on the dash board for about twenty minutes, but then I start freaking out.

Then I hear a short scream come from somewhere and growl under my breath, "What have I gotten myself into?!" I grab the flashlight I packed and get out of the car, slamming the door behind me.

I run towards the woods (since I got that cast off earlier before I went into the police station and can run a little) to search for whoever made that noise until I come across a body on the ground. It's Austin's.

I roll my eyes. "Get up or you'll get a kick in the you know where," I say, placing my hands on my hips.

He gets up and brushes the dirt off of himself.

"What the hell are you doing!" I whisper-yell, getting very angry because now my leg hurts really bad. I crumple to the ground as my broken leg gives way and sit there breathing heavy breaths until he replies.

"Well, I was going back to the police station but then-" he tries to say but I force myself off the ground and tackle him.

"We talked about this. I am not going to let you do that," I say, getting very angry but then Austin freezes, looking at something.

I turn around and see a bear looking at us. I try and move but it smacks me and I hit a tree. Thr last thing I see before I get knocked out is Austin trying to fight it.

I wake up in a hospital bed with a new cast on my right leg and a large bandage on my left arm. I start freaking out, thinking that Austin must have brought me here and is back in jail. A doctor comes in and talks to me about how Miss Flavrin will be here tomorrow and how to treat my cast and other things like that that I don't care about.

"And you have a visitor. It's a boy so maybe you have a secret admirer," he says, smiling and telling the boy he can come in.

It's a boy who looks like Austin but has a large smile that Austin would never have. I look at him confused and ask his name. The boy looks back with the same amount of confusion as if I was supposed to know his name, he walks over the the doctor and whispers something in his ear. The doctor whispers something back and the boy nods.

He walks over to me as the doctor leaves the room, he sits next to me on the bed ((A/N: if you're wondering this is not a very good hospital so Zoey is still in her clothes)) and says something but I can't get it because I'm still fazed by what happened.

The boy waves his hand in front of my face and says it again, "Hey, it's Austin remember me, ya know-" he starts, but I cut him off and hug him, ignoring the pain, and after a moment he hugs me back.

"And then I hit it with the log dazing it just long enough to grab your unconscious body and run back to the car," he says, finishing his story of how he saved me and himself.

"Wow, well I guess you repaid your debt from almost running me over," I say, giving him a small smile.

"I guess I have," he says, getting up to leave but I stop him.

"Wait, are you going back to jail?" I ask, a little worried.

"No I talked my dad into bailing me out of all my crimes and he's going to adopt you, then we can take one of his nine cars and go find your real parents," he says, smiling at me.

I nod and close my eyes, hearing only one word from him before I fall asleep. Forever.
