"Austin, I need you to go back to the gas station because me and Miss Flavrin need to talk....alone," I say, but I can tell he doesn't want to and I can understand why.
"Z what is happening, she's my mom?and what did she mean by us finding each other again?" He asks and I wish I could tell him but I know I have to wait.
"Austin go back to the gas station, I wish I could tell you everything but I still have questions about why I'm remembering, you'll probably have the same I will explain everything when I meet you back at the gas station. ok?" I say hoping he'll listen. "Alright" he says turning around and walking away towards the gas station, as soon as he's out of sight I walk back into Miss Flavrins office so we could talk.
"I'm alone Austin went back to the gas station I say closing the door behind me, "He better not be out there there are some things that he needs to hear from someone he knows and not,well me." She says giving me a stern look, I nod since Austin most definitely is not out there at least I don't think.
"So how do you remember?" She asks me and I tell her everything that I can remember but it isn't much.
"Ok well I'm gonna go over everything so you bette listen." She says but I ask her one thing before she starts, "Did Nancy or Clare get adopted?" I ask and she just stares at me but replies very briskly, "Yes by the same people that adopted you and I can see things didn't work out very well." She says making me smile knowing my best friends have a home now.
"Well the to answer your questions we must begin from the start of the matter," She says but pauses as if there is something stoping her but she quickly forgets what she had in her mind and continues.
"So a few years ago when you were about fifteen my son came to visit me and check out my job, but of course being sixteen he was interested in girls so I told him to stay in my office. Later you came in to ask me something but I wasn't there but of course my son was.
I was about to open the door to my office when I saw him kissing you through the window, of course you looked paralyzed like a stick and quickly pulled away and backed out of the room. I walked past you and lectured him of course he ignored me and found you again and one thing led to another and you two became a thing." She said taking a breath but I knew there was more so I waited a moment till she continued.
"I decided to go and find someone who could give me something to help,and I ended up finding some creepy old man who gave me a potion and said that it made you forget things. I asked him how and he said it latched onto a fear or insecurity that the person who drank it had. I quickly paid for it and it seemed to have worked till now." She said finishing and I tooth and a deep long breath.
"I just don't know why it stopped working." She said looking down at her desk but I knew exactly why.
"Because the potion lost its hold." I mumble taking a step back. "Excuse me?" Miss Flavrin asked me and I shook my head to come back into focus.
"Okay so before we came here Austin and I were talking and I laughed to giggled or whatever and I've always hated my giggle." I say an I can tell she catching on.
"But Austin made me feel like my giggle was nice because he liked it so I wasn't insecure about it anymore." I finish smiling be issue everything makes sense now, but then I stop and think of something, "Why did you end up getting I divorce?"
