I drive myself to his house, get out of the car, and knock on the front door.
I start having second thoughts, but then Austin's dad opens up the door."Hi again," I say, giving him a nervous smile.
"Ugh," he says, closing the door, but I stick my foot out and stop it.
"I need your help," I say quickly knowing that if I wait too long he'll call the police or kidnap me or something.
"Why do you want my help?" he grumbles, being quite rude, though at the moment I can understand why.
"I need some cash," I say, giving him the most innocent smile I can muster which apparently wasn't good enough for him.
"Umm.......let me think about it.....NO!" he yells, scaring the crap out of me. I punch him in the face, making him yell again and walk inside, closing the door behind me. I guess he doesn't realize I was inside with him at first, or he never would have shut the door.
"Money please...about 80,000 should do the trick," I say, looking at my nails as if I could care less about the current situation.
"If you promise not to punch me anymore, fine," he says, giving me a some cash from his pocket and nearly recoiling as I reach out to take it.
"Thanks," I say, smiling and I walk out the door as a jolt of pain hits me. I remember my broken leg and tenderly walk to the car and hotwire it again.
I take off toward the police station nearest to the hospital I was in. I believe it was the Caperville hospital or something like that. I pray that Austin is there so that I don't have to do any computer hacking or searching online.
My leg starts to hurt again and I begin to regret leaving the hospital, but I have to save Austin or at least try.I mean he gave me my first (and second) kiss, how can I not save him?
I pull into the police station but as I get out the cash I realize that it's fake! "Why that #@&$%!" I mumble under my breath, cursing at him. Then I decide to breakout, the charm. I walk in and place my hands on the front desk. I thank the Lord that the police man at the desk looks no younger then 19 and is male.
The I begin break out the sad face.
No man can resist a woman's sad face. I look at him, forcing tears into my eyes as I begin to speak. "Oh please c-can you help me," I say, faking a sob.
The man, or boy, as I should call him since my trick is working, begins to loose the stern look he had when I came in.
"What do you need young lady?" he says, with the most amount of heartfelt joy I've ever heard, and flashes a smile.
I wipe a fake tear from my eye and continue "My boyfriend...well ex, I should say, since after I found out he went to jail and I broke up with him. I just wanted to tell him and be done with it," I say, which was perfect because now the guy thought I was single which technically I am, and sad therefore he could get me easily become my shoulder to cry on.
"Alright, follow me," the guard says smiling as he leads me past some of the creepiest people I have ever seen until I see Austin and tell the guard that that's him.
When Austin sees me, his eyes light up which makes it harder to say what I'm about to say. "Austin I'm breaking up with you," I say, crossing my arms and sticking my nose in the air. He gets a confused look on his face but I continue.
"Please open the cell," I say to the guard in my most charming voice.
"But why?" he asks me, looking as confused as Austin. I hold up my fist and he gets the picture, he nods his head, takes out a key, and unlocks the cell.
Once the cell is unlocked I walk inside, mumble sorry under my breath, and punch Austin in the face. "What the hell!" he yells as I walk out, but as the guard walks over to lock it again, I kick him in the place with my good leg, wobbling a little, grab Austin by the arm (he's still rubbing his jaw which is where I hit him), and drag him out through the halls to the stolen car outside.
"Thanks, but did you have to punch me in the face?" he asks as we buckle our seat belts and I drive out of there.
"No, I didn't, but I had to escape a hospital with a broken leg, ask for money from your dad which was fake, and sweet talk a police officer so I'd say you deserve it," I answer as I pull into the parking lot of an abandoned gas station.
"Wait, you still have a broken leg?" Austin says, looking concerned.
"Yeah so, why do you care?" I ask him.
He rubs the back of his neck and kisses me but not like 'I missed you' kiss, but like I love you kiss, when he pulls away he answers my question, "That's why."
