Chapter 11: Universal

Anna's POV: I woke up at 8am to do some assignments. Classes got cancelled. I hear a knock at the door. I put my laptop down on the table, and get up to answer the door. It's Charlie. 

"Charlie", I said excitedly. I hug him and then let go. 

"I'm excited, because we're going to Universal in two hours", he said. 

"WHAT? okay let me finish these assignments", I said. 

"Yeah, we need to go out after what happened yesterday so why not", he said. There he goes again with the "we". But you know, I say "we" a lot as well. 

"Definitely", I said. I look at him, then go back to my laptop. I finished my assignments in an hour and a half, so we left early for Universal. I can't believe it, my first time at Universal and it's with a guy. 

"Charlie, you are one crazy guy you know", I said. 

"Nah, just want you to experience the best of the best", he said. 

"Oh yeah", I said. 

"Trust me, it's so fun. I figured since both of us aren't going to to stay in Florida forever. We have to make the most of it right", he said. There he goes with "us" and "we". 

"I mean you're right", I said. But what if I do want to stay in Florida and he goes away. I mean I don't know yet. It's kind of like how I texted Charlie last night, it's kind of hard where I want to be. I get a text from Avery, we're almost at Universal.

Aves: wanna hang out? I'm tired of assignments 

Me: Um I'm almost at Universal with Charlie

Aves: WHAT? Girl he so likes you

Me: Yeah I can tell. He keeps using "we" and "us". 

Aves: omg girl you guys are definitely going to date

Me: Yeah I hope so

I put my phone in my pocket, as Charlie pulls up to Universal. As time passes by, both of us ride rides, visit Harry Potter world, and everything. I was having such a fun time. I haven't had this much fun since my last trip in Missouri. Charlie and I decided to have lunch in Harry Potter world. 

"Charlie, you were right, I'm having so much fun", I said. 

"I can't believe you've never been here before. I used to come here all the time as a kid", he said. 

"Yeah, in my family it was just me and my mom, so we hardly took trips", I said. 

"Oh I'm  sorry", he said. 

"No, it's okay", I said. I feel safe around Charlie. I can always talk to him about anything. He is super sweet. We finish eating and get back to riding rides. It was about 5pm, I was beginning to become tired and cold. Charlie was okay that we were leaving. At this point we were there since 10 this morning. We got back to the car. He gave me a blanket that was from the backseat of his car. I wrapped myself and felt warm. 

"So, why do you keep a blanket in your car", I ask. 

"I travel a lot, so I keep it for emergencies", he said. 

"Oh same here", I said. He gives me his phone to play music. Why would he do that? We've never talked about our music taste before, so I'm scared. 

"Don't play anything weird", he said. 

"What's weird to you", I asked. I laughed. 

"I don't know", he said smirking and laughing. I punched his arm. 

"Charlie", I said. I shook my head. I play about everything. Girl pop, slow songs, and chill songs. I was so nervous to play every single song. I would make sure he wouldn't tell me to skip the songs. I would make sure he'd be into at least some of the songs I played, and he was. When we got back to my apartment, I told him bye and that I had a lot of fun today. I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. Risk move, he left after that. I think he was shocked almost as I was. I texted Avery about it. I don't think she'll answer tonight though. It was nearing 10pm an it was bedtime. I couldn't stop thinking about kissing Charlie's cheek, that was bold of me. Anyways, I let my thoughts make me sleep.
