Chapter 6: Charlie

Anna's POV: I woke up at about 7 am, I was awake on the couch. It was February 2nd, it was Thursday. I only had two classes today. I saw there was a note on the table in front of my couch. A note? 

Anna, I'm so sorry I had to leave so soon for my classes. I'm glad you liked the flowers. I'll text you later. - Charlie. 

I decided to text him. Did me and him cuddle on the couch last night? I'm not complaining if we did, it's just we hardly know each other yet. 

Me: Did we cuddle on the couch last night? 

I didn't expect him to answer, because of classes. I started to get ready for my classes. I really don't remember much of anything last night. I was so tired. 

*time skip, 2pm*

After my classes, I went back to my apartment. I decided to not do any assignments today, because my body is tired physically and mentally. I was checking my phone, I got two messages from Charlie. 

Char: We did. 

Char: You regret it? 

Me: No. I was so tired.

Char: you did any assignments today? 

Me: My body is physically and mentally tired 

Char: Your getting sick? 

Me: I don't think so 

Char: okay I'm coming over, if you want me to. It's up to you. 

Me: Yeah sure I feel lonely. 

Char: I'll be there in two hours.

I put my phone down on the table in front of the couch. I go on Netflix and look at my continue watching list. It was on Outer Banks, season one episode five. I remember everything now. Charlie and I watched Outer Banks while cuddling on the couch last night. I don't regret it at all. Charlie is so sweet and I really like him. Anyway, I watch Outer Banks and wait for Charlie to show up. It was 5pm and I heard a knock at the door, I got up to answer. 

"Char! you're here", I said excitedly.

"Sorry I'm late but I got you something", he said. 

"I didn't even notice, I was watching Outer Banks, and thanks you didn't have to bring me anything", I said. 

"I wanted to", he said. He's so sweet. The definition of "if he wanted to, he would". 

He brought me Powerade, candy, Dr.Pepper, and other small things. A guy who cares about me. How does he know my favorite things? He pays attention to me. Wow, I've never had anybody pay attention to me except my parents. Not even my own friends who I grew up with, know me that well. Does he like me as much as I like him? I look at him, and then I go back to putting my stuff away. He was sitting on the couch watching Outer Banks. I sit on the couch after putting my stuff away. 

"Didn't Chase Stokes go to UCF", I asked. 

"Yeah, he graduated in 2015", he said. 

"Oh okay", I said going back to watch the show. 

After two hours, it was about 7pm. Charlie had to leave because he said he had a lot of homework assignments to do, which I was sad he was leaving, but I understand. 

"Bye Char. This was so fun. Thanks for bringing me my favorite things to boost my mood", I said. 

"Anything for you, bye Anna", he said. I started blushing and he went out the door. 

Oh, he definitely has feelings for me. I just wish I knew more about him and who he is. I mean, we both love Outer Banks, but what else does he like. He knows about some psychology at least. I start to make dinner, because I started to get a little hungry. I get a text from Charlie. 

Char: I hate assignments. So many. for what. 

Me: You got it. You're smart and I believe you can do it. 

Char: Thanks, I knew I could count on you 

Me: I know I'm the best ever. 

He read it, but didn't respond. I understand though. After I eat, I go back to "watching" Netflix, even though I'm scrolling on my phone. I'm so bored, but I'm glad I got to take a break from doing assignments for once. It's a lot on my mental health if I overwork myself. Usually, when I do overwork myself, I get sick. So, technically, I didn't lie to Charlie because I don't feel sick as of now. He was really sweet to bring me my favorite things. I go grab a blue Powerade from the fridge and start getting ready for bed around 9pm. I get a text from Charlie. 

Char: you know it. Goodnight Anna. 

Me: Goodnight. 

Char: I don't know why you still go to bed early 

Me: Charlie. 

Char: sorry I know you need your beauty sleep. 

Me: hahahaha very funny. 

I put my phone on the charger by the bed side table and fall asleep.
