Darkness, darkness consumed me. That's all I could see. Where was I? Was I dead? No, not dead, very much alive. I saw a bright light in the distance, I tried to run towards it but I couldn't move. It was like the darkness was keeping me down.
"Dean?" I yelled, hoping my boyfriend could hear me. Nothing, no sound. just that bright light growing bigger and bigger. Suddenly the light turned into a body, with long glowing hair.
"M-mom?" I asked in disbelief, sure it was my mother standing before me. The glowing women smiled at me and reached her hand out. I still couldn't move, as much as I wanted to run and hug her, I just couldn't. Her hand touched mine and now it was light that consumed me. So much light, to much light. A high pitched squeal could be heard, growing louder and louder...until I was sure my ears would bleed. It was so loud, so high. I wanted to cover my ears in an attempt to stop it but I still couldn't move.
"MOM!" I screamed, wrestling with the frequency. The pitch got higher, and suddenly the figure I believed was my mom was drenched in red. Her eyes were sunken in, her hair brittle and breaking, her eyes completely gray and lifeless. All I could do was scream. I couldn't watch this, couldn't bear it. Then I heard a familiar voice, a males.
"(Y/N), come on! Wake up!" The voice yelled and yelled. Then I realized, it was Dean. I felt tears brimming my eyes, and looked down to see my shirt drenched in the same red that drenched my mother. It felt like i'd just been stabbed in the stomach, a sharp pain that coursed through my entire body. I screamed out in agony.
"Dean! Dean!" I yelled shutting my eyes tight. And then the Screeching stopped, I saw no bright light under the darkness of my eyelids, there was no more pain. I daringly opened my eyelids, hopeful that it was all over. And there was Dean, Cas, and Sam, looking down at me with worried faces.
"You're bleeding!" Dean yelled, holding pressure on your stomach. I felt tears brimming over and rolling down the side of my eyes. I looked down to see my shirt completely drenched in blood, just like what had happened moments before.
"H-HOW?" I yelled, trying to sit up. they all pushed me down. Was that all real? How did my shirt get so bloody when I wasn't even hurt? Or am I hurt, I don't feel anything.
"Shhh, just lay down (Y/N)." Sam said, petting my hair. Dean gave a look to Cas and he nodded in understanding. He put his hand over my stomach and shook his head.
"She is unharmed." Cas said bluntly, standing up from his crouching position. I sighed a breath of relief and stood up.
"That doesn't explained how she's drenched in BLOOD!" Dean yelled, probably as freaked out as me. Cas sighed and turned to me.
"That Amulet you wear, was it your mothers?" He asks, inspecting it. My mom had given the amulet to me before the accident, she told me to be careful with it because it was special.
"Yeah it is, now what the fuck is going on here Cas? I'm seriously freaking out!" I said with wild eyes. I needed to know if that was really my mother, and if it was, why she would put me through something like that. Unless my parents truly were evil...
"That amulet is holding the spirits of your parents. It has had a spell cast on it to bind them to it." Castiel said, letting go of the amulet.
"So you're telling me that her parents are haunting her through the amulet?" Dean asked with crossed arms. My eyes widened in worry, if they were trapped in there for so long then they could already turn into vengeful spirits.
"what did you encounter while inside the amulet?" Cas asked me, ignoring Dean's question. I told them everything that happened, Sam giving me a sympathetic look and Dean getting angry that he wasn't there to protect me. Even Cas had traces of sadness on his face.
"It appears they may be trying to send a message. This might not be the last time (Y/N)." Cas said, with a sorry facial expression. I almost felt like crying, I can't do that again.
"You mean she has to go through all that again? How many times Cas, huh? Do you think she would even want to go back in once?" Dean yelled, getting into Cas's face. Cas seemed to actually get angry, which was odd given how emotionless he was.
"Do you think I want her to go through it again? I care about her just as much as you do but I can't stop it! I can't stop everything you know!" Cas yelled back, his words filled with human emotion. Everyone was silent, no one had heard Cas be so passionate.
"We keep a watch on her and if it happens again we try to make her comfortable, it's all we can do." Cas said, his bright blue eyes suddenly so much dimmer. Cas has never acted like this, and I don't think anyone was prepared for it.
