Kat stared in to the fire with dead eyes. What had she done? How could she do that to Jack? She loved him and he loved her and now he was gone.

Tia Dalma's hut was silent. Every pirate was mourning the loss of their Captain Jack Sparrow. No one had the courage to muster up words and break the silence. He was an eccentric man who more often than not got them all in trouble, but he was their Captain non-the less.

Tia handed Kat a hot cup of tea, "Drink up my child. I am sorry for everyone's loss but yers especially. Destiny is a cruel thing tis' it not?"

"Crueler than expected." That's all she could say.

"It is a shame. I know ye thinking that with the Pearl you could've captured the devil and saved yer father's soul?" Tia aimed this at Will who was sitting right next to Kat and Elizabeth.

Will spoke up, "Doesn't matter now, the Pearl is gone, along with its captain." He stood up.

"Her." Kat corrected Will, "Her captain."

Ta nodded, "Aye. And already the world seems a little less bright." Was all Tia said as she looked around at everyone.

"He fooled us al, right to the end," said Gibbs sadly. "But I guess that honest streak finally wore out." Gibbs perhaps was one of the people taking Jack's death the worst. Jack was his companion and idol. He looked deep in thought as he looked out the window. He turned to everyone and raised his cup, "To Jack Sparrow."

"Never another like Capn' Jack." Agreed Ragetti.

Pintel added, "Gentleman of fortune he was."

"He was a good man," Elizabeth said sadly.

Kat couldn't bring herself to say anything else. Will approached her and said, "If there was anything that could be done to bring him back, Kat-"

"Would ye do it?" Kat turned to see Tia stalking towards her, "What would ye do.... Hmmm?" She turned to greet everyone's stare, "What would any of ye be willing to do? Would ye sail to the end of the earth and beyond to fetch back witty Jack and him precious Pearl?"

"In a heartbeat." Kat said lighting up at Tia's words. She has a plan.

Gibbs was the second to respond, "Aye."

"Aye.," agreed Pintel standing up.

"Aye." Ragetti stood ext.

"Aye," William said smiling at Kat and then examining Elizabeth.

"Yes."

Tia smirked, "Alright, "But if ye go and brave the weird and haunted shores at World's End, then ye will need a captain who knows those waters." She turned to look at her staircase.

The air was thick and everyone began to gather around to see what Tia was looking at. Will, Liz, and Kat were at the front. As they heard heavy steps coming down the stairs all of them gasped.

"So, tell me, what has become of my ship," He paused and looked at Kat smirking, "And what's become of my daughter?" He brought up the green apple in his hand and bit into it, laughing menacingly.

Kat's eyes widened with shock. Tia put a hand on her shoulder with a proud look on her face, "Katherine Barbossa, meet yer father."
