"& I, Calum Hood, am a romantic guy."

Ava's P.O.V

For the past week, Calum & I have been doing our own thing that wasn't technically a relationship but obviously sort of was since we were just into each other. We share a bed at night since Luke let us have the room, we cuddle a lot when we're both not doing much, we've been holding hands more often just casually, we kiss quite a bit, usual simple kisses, & we save the making out for when we're alone at night.

It's nothing short of what I had wished for.

I still did wish for the actual boyfriend label because I liked Calum so much & I want him to be mine but I know we're taking this time to just explore & see what could be so I had to accept that for the time being.

"Avaaaaaa." Calum came into the kitchen where I was just sitting & reading a magazine. "Do you want to go swimming right now?"

"Where? Just right down in the ocean?"

"Yea, just out back. It's almost sunset. How cute would it be."

"Do we have to?"

"Please? Please? Please?"

"Alright yea, why not."

"Cool. C'mon. Let's go change." Calum put out his hand, reaching for mine, before we walked upstairs to change. Since I was now sharing a room with him, my clothing & other belongings had moved from my original room with Ashton & Michael to his.

"Okay. I'll turn around." Calum said to me after I found a bikini in my drawer. "Go ahead & change."

"How do I know you won't peak?"

"Because I don't want to look at you in that way until you're ready for me to look at you in that way."

& I was not expecting him to have such a sweet, gentleman answer.

"So basically you won't look at me naked until I decide you can?"

"Exactly. I have respect, Aves."

"Oh. Well thanks. I appreciate that a lot."

"Now just tell me when you're done." Calum looked out the window as I quickly changed & it wasn't until I turned back around that I had seen Calum had changed as well.

His body was something I could never get over.

"You can turn around now, Cal."

"Well god damn Ava." Calum walked across the room towards me before he held both of my hands, literally just checking out my body. "You are one gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous girl."

"Don't look so hard." I tried to let go of his hands so he couldn't stare at me so hard. "Stop starring at me."

"Why, sweetheart?"

"I feel exposed. You can see everything."

"& I love what I see so relax, okay? You are beautiful, Ava. Your body is rocking & you have every right to own it."

"Okay." I smiled as Calum kissed my forehead. "Let's go swim before the sunsets, yea?"

"Why do we have to swim during the sunset though?"

"Because it's romantic as hell, Ava. That's why. & I, Calum Hood, am a romantic guy."

"Okay then Mr. Romance, come on."

"You lead the way, Ava. I need to check out your bum some more."

"Cal!"

"Sorry." He laughed. "Well not really sorry but."
