"Oh my god. Watch your mouth, Mr. Hood."
Calum's P.O.V
A few days after a recovery from New Years, Ava & I were laying out on a public beach in Perth that we decided to go to for the day with a few of the others just as a relaxing, sunny day.
I was laying on my side, propping my head up on my hand as I looked as Ava who was laying on her stomach, looking up at the sky.
"Cal?"
"Yea?"
"I have something on my mind."
"I know. You've been quiet today. What's up, sweetheart?"
"Well, we leave the beach house in a couple of days & then we're only home for a few more days before I go off to Canberra for uni & you go back up to Sydney & the more I think about it, the more I realize it's not that much time until we're sort of long distance."
"Are you worried about us being apart?"
"Well aren't you?"
"Of course I am but I know we'll be okay." I reassured her. "We really will be."
"So you think we can still be together even after we leave this house?"
"Well we want to be together, Ava so I think that is what matters most. I don't want a few hour drive in between us to stop that. I can come see you on weekends or you can come by me & we can Skype, we have breaks together in between terms where we can get together & now that you're mine, I'm not letting you go."
"I just wasn't sure if once you got back to uni if you'd still want me. I didn't know if you wanted a long distance girlfriend or a girlfriend back home type of thing, you know?"
"I want an Ava. I don't care what kind of girlfriend that is as long as it's an Ava, long distance or a girl back home. It doesn't matter."
"You're cute, Cal."
"But not as cute as you." I paused. "But I'm serious Ava, I want to be with you. Distance doesn't mean anything to me."
"Okay."
"But did you really think I might not want to see you after we leave this beach house, baby?"
"Well I don't know what it'll be like once we leave here. This is like our own little paradise & we're basically living together so once we leave here, I don't know what the dynamic will be like for us. This is so different for us. Who knows what uni will do to us"
"It'll be fine. Like I said, I'm not giving you up Aves."
"I might need you to reassure me of that sometimes."
"I will whenever you need it."
"Then I feel better."

The next night, everyone in our house decided to do one final crazy night out in Perth but Ava & I weren't feeling the whole loud club & alcohol thing so we stayed back to have a night alone.
"Hey Aves, I know what we should do tonight."
"What happened to our movie night on the sofa?"
"I have a better idea."
"What's better than laying on the couch & kissing instead of watching the movie?"
"Can I just tell you my idea to see what you think?"
"Okay." Ava gave me a look. "What is it?"
"Let's go skinny dipping."
"What!"
