Don't Wait, A Surprise Is Around The Corner

Joey stood outside of set, they were about to begin shooting. But, Joey just stood there. Staring up at the building. With trepidation filling his lungs, he couldn't believe that this was actually real. That he was actually making a music video. In which he will come out to the whole world. Suddenly, the feeling of familiar arms wrapping around his waist interrupted his train of thoughts.

"Don't wait," Daniel whispered in Joey's ear. "Let's film a music video."
Joey smiled radiantly and let Daniel's arms shield him from his worries. "Let's go."
"Oh, wait, before we do, I have a gift for you."
"Aw, Dan, that's so sweet! What is it?"
Joey turned to face the boy while he produced a box from his bag. He gave it Joey, who removed the lid and looked inside the box.
"Oh. My. God." Joey was speechless.

The item resting in the box was a crown. But, not just any old crown. No. It was the exact same crown worn by, none other than, the prince from the masquerade party. Which can mean only one thing...

"Daniel... You're the prince? You're my prince?" Joey began to laugh. "Of course you're the prince, you're my prince. But, how did you know..."
"I told you I could spot your beautiful eyes from across a room." Daniel replied.
"You knew ever since the auditions?"
"Yeah! Why do you think I agreed to rehearse with you? No one rehearses for a music video," Joey bursted out laughing again. "I just wanted to get to know you."
Daniel pulled Joey into a warm embrace and Joey kissed him lovingly.
"I love you, Dan"
"I love you too, Joe."

A tentative Joey Graceffa sat at his computer, mouse hovering over the upload button. He inhaled and then exhaled loudly. Suddenly, a warm Daniel Preda placed his hand on Joey's shoulder and kissed Joey the top of his head.

"I don't know if I can make myself press the button, Dan."
"Okay, try this. Hover your finger over the mouse and close your eyes."
Joey obeyed.
"Now, slowly - and I mean slowly - move your finger forwards."
Joey obeyed again. And before he knew it, he had clicked the button and video was uploading to YouTube.
"I did it ... It's uploading," Joey turned to face Daniel. "Thank you." And with those words, he pressed his lips against Daniel's in an act of true love.

"Happy Birthday, Joe."

They threw a party later that day for Joey's birthday. All his YouTuber friends that live in LA showed up, as well as his other friends, they all wished him a happy birthday and congratulated him on coming out of the closet. Just like his subscribers did earlier that day. Although, for some reason, David stayed in his room and didn't leave for the entire night. Joey - who was oblivious to this - enjoyed the party thoroughly, especially the parts where he got to show off his boy to everyone. And they were all very impressed with Daniel too.

He went to bed that night, cuddled up to Daniel, thanking his lucky stars for having the most amazing friends in the world.
