Okay, so I really dislike writing authors notes so I decided to save up all my thoughts to the very end of the story.

First of all - THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING MY LITTLE FAN FICTION!
Secondly, if you were wondering the title does come from the Phantom of the Opera song Masquerade.
Thirdly, I want to note that this story is heavily inspired by Phantom of the Opera (well, the first chapter) and Pretty Little Liars.
Fourth point, I want to make a disclaimer: I do not hate or dislike Cat in any way, I actually really like Cat and think she is an amazing person, but I needed someone to be my story's version of Mona Vanderwaal. I didn't want it to be David because that's too obvious, I didn't want to write Shane in the story as an antagonist, but Cat worked perfectly. I even tried to wrote the first scene to be suggestive, but not obvious.
Fifth, this story has actually been really fun to write and I'm actually quite pleased with the way it turned out.
6th point, I really like the cover for this book (I made it myself) I just really want to express how much I like it!
Seven, I might rewrite some of the more crucial scenes were this whole "diary" thing doesn't work very well, i.e. when Cat gets arrested the first time.
Finally: I'm think of writing a sequel because this is actually really fun. I'll rewrite the wedding and add description and stuff and then write about Joey and Daniel's married life. I just want to ask for your opinion, do you want a sequel? And if so, do you want it more cute, description based shorts like the Disneyland-Christmas chapters or do you want it more drama based, plot heavy?
