After the confrontation with the brothers, Rindou made sure you got home safely. Even though you had already changed your address, he somehow managed to find out where you live. That alone made you realize—this place isn't safe for the twins anymore.
"Mom, Senju wants to see the twins. Maybe they can stay at her place for now. Some fans followed me back here," you said quietly.
"Is that so? Then I guess I don't have a choice..."
You packed lightly for the twins and sent them off to Senju's. It was the safest option for now. You could always make arrangements to send them to the States later—but Haruchiyo knew about your children, and with the way things were, it wasn't impossible that he'd try to hurt them.
You trusted in Senju's strength.
"Mommy! Mommy! You've been so busy lately! Do you think I haven't noticed? Grandma and Grandpa are always the ones taking us out—what about you? When are we going out as a family again?" Izu's sudden outburst from the backseat caught you off guard. You glanced at her through the rearview mirror.
She was pouting, her chubby arms crossed in frustration.
"I'm sorry... I thought you liked being with Grandma. Was I wrong?" you asked softly.
"Hmph! We should go out today! I hate it when you don't play with us... Don't you love us anymore?"
You heard Tsukiyo sigh beside her. "Izu, why would you even think that?"
You kept your eyes on the road, but your chest tightened at Izu's words.
"Izu, of course I love you," you said, your voice barely above a whisper. "I love both of you more than anything."
Tsukiyo patted his sister's head. "Mom is trying her best, so you don't have to say those words that can hurt her..."
"But, Tsukii..."
"Alright, we'll go out today," you reassured. You called Senju after talking with them and decided to bring her with you.
After Rindou send you off, he didn't talk to you the whole ride instead he became rather cold. It's very complicated to understand him. He was this protective man then change into someone you don't know.
"Mommy, can I get new glasses?" Tsukiyo asked as he take off his blue glasses. You look at him through the rareview mirror.
"Is something wrong?" you asked, your brows knitted with concern. It had been a while since his last eye check-up.
"It's getting a little blurry," he admitted. You pressed your lips together and gave a small nod.
"Don't worry, baby. We'll head out right away."
After a short drive, you arrived at Senju's place. She was already outside, lighting up with excitement the moment she saw the twins. Izu, meanwhile, was squirming in her car seat.
