Two hours later, the two young tugs were not too happy to find themselves facing a complete cliché.

Yup, there was a well-hidden trap-door in the middle of nowhere. Yup, there were stairs that led down and down, into darkness and underground labyrinths. Yuuup, they all descended, using only their phones to light the way, the two brothers following Mike's lead, grudgingly.

- Where the fuck are we...?  –  Johnny mumbled under his nose.

His brother just grunted, not too happy to have to carry the kidnapped young man's body on his back.

***

The blow to the head must have caused a serious concussion, because, once they had arrived at the spot, all three of them tried to wake Jiang Wanyin up, including through some kicking and shouting, but he had passed out completely.

- Did you kill him, you bastard?!  -  Mike growled at Johnny Wu, checking for pulse and breath.

The young man was breathing, but barely. His mouth was still gagged and tied shut, so his lungs were wheezing slightly as he did inhale irregularly. The bun at the back of his head has disintegrated, and now his hair was falling, free and messy, and dirty. He looked pale and thin, and his always angry eyes were tightly shut.

- Huh!   -  Johnny had huffed back, looking at the scene with disgust: the Captain of the 12th was touching the reason for all his problems almost gently.  –  It would be damn stupid if I ruined my chances of getting filthy rich so quickly! Do you think I'm stupid?!

- I dunno.  –  Mike glared back at him.  –  Are you???

But as the victim would not wake up to walk on his own feet, someone had to carry him, and there was only one who was strong enough, and had no choice.

Yun was sweating worse now, grunting unhappily from time to time. It was a long, winding road till they got to that special room that was supposed to lock only from the inside, or so he felt it. Once again A-Cheng's phone started ringing, and, startled anew, he thought that it was probably his neurotic sister. But he didn't worry. The battery was going to die, sooner rather than later, plus  –  there probably was close to no coverage down here, underground. Cops' rooms were sound-proof, bullet-proof, and whatnot, right?

The body was limp, and getting heavier, even though the bartender looked slim and scrawny. He felt it was unfair! How come he was always the only one to do the heavy lifting?!

He didn't really listen, even though his Ge and that damned cop were discussing the location. It was isolated, and far away  from his comfortable bed, and from all food! This was all he knew! He only caught separate phrases, huffing and puffing, and quite tired by now.
