It didn't take long before I was so engrossed in my book, completely tuned out from reality and the sound of music in my ears. I caught movement from the corner of my eye, and looked up to see that people were grabbing their items from the overhead compartments and beginning to exit the plane. I glanced out the window, after realizing we had landed. I smiled at James, who was still sleeping. Aw, he looks so cute! I quickly snapped a picture of him, using his phone. Before I nudged him to wake him up. "Hey. The plane landed." He opened his eyes and smiled back at me, Then he reached up and pushed a strand of hair behind my ear. "Well. Let's grab my bag, and go." I nodded and followed James off the plane. He reached out and grabbed my hand, squeezing it and smiling down at me. "I can't wait to show you my favourite thing about this part of California! I have a feeling you will love this trip." I smiled "I'm sure I will too, I have no idea what too expect really, you're always so full of surprises" I giggled and stuck my tongue out at him. After we picked up our luggage, we went outside and waved down a taxi. James suspiciously handed the driver a note with an address written on it. I smirked and watched as James sat back down next to me; he smiled sheepishly at me and innocently asked "what?" I had to laugh. "Oh, nothing. Just someone's acting suspicious..." He appeared to be shocked and looked around the cab. "Who? Where?" I had to laugh, "You. Dork." Then I playfully punched his arm. He smiled and shrugged "I don't know what you're talking about, I'm acting completely normal." I rolled my eyes and looked out the window. He chuckled to himself, and entangled his fingers with mine. From instinct I turned to look at my hand, then looked up at James who meet my gaze, as he leaned in closer to me. Closing the already small gap between us. Then he kissed my nose. "You're adorable." I blushed and looked away. I heard a faint chuckle under James breath, I smiled and rolled my eyes. It wasn't long before we were grabbing our bags and getting the keys to our hotel room. The hotel we were staying in was an beautifully designed residence inn. The floors shone, the walls complemented the gold and red furniture. And when you looked up, a beautiful gaily chandelier hung in the centre of the hotel lobby. Giving the lobby it's final touch.

After we got in our hotel room, we set our bags down next to the queen sized bed. I am I really going to be sharing a hotel room with a boy?!!! Wait, am I sharing the queen sized bed with James?! My face flushed and my cheeks warmed, as the blood rushed to my cheeks at the embarrassing thought. James looked over at me quickly, but he didn't notice my tomato red face. As his eyes bounced all around the room.
"What's wrong?" He shook his head and frowned. "I'm terribly sorry, the room I had reserved was one with two double beds. Let me call down to front desk, and see if they can fix this mistake." He went over to the phone and dialled the front desk. This room in its self is nice, apart from the bed situation, I don't see a problem with the room. And I can always sleep on the couch to make this less awkward. The next thing I knew I hung up the hotel phone. James stared at me blankly "Alexis? Are you okay?" I smiled and nodded "yes. I'm fine. The room its self is nice, apart from the single bed I really don't have any complaints. If anything I can sleep on the couch to avoid bothering the front desk." James grabbed my hand and nodded "okay. But there is no way, I'm letting you sleep on the couch. I'll take the couch. You can have the bed. Now, before you even try, and argue it's all ready settled." I glared at him but I was really thankful, that I got to sleep in a nice comfy bed. "Okay. Fine. Only if you're sure." He nodded "yes, of course. I really don't mind, sleeping on the couch." I smiled "okay. Thanks." He smiled "no problem, Hun." I went over to my bag and pulled out a hairbrush. I flinched as James sneaked his arms around my waist, and rested his chin on my shoulder. My heart started racing and I felt my cheeks warm. "W-what are you doing?" he smiled and whispered "I made reservations. Get ready, it's casual don't worry. I'll be back in 25 minutes to pick you up." Then he reached into his bag searched around and pulled out clothing and cologne. Then he ran out of the hotel room before I could say anything. Well, that was odd.. Wait! 25 minutes! That gives me barely enough time to do my make up. What am I going to wear?! I opened my bag and savaged through it, till I was able to pick out a nice casual dress. I quickly got changed then grabbed my make up bag and darted over to the restroom.

I called around to make sure my reservation was still available. I changed into the clothes I grabbed and sprayed my self with the cologne. Then I stepped outside the lobby, and hailed a taxi. I asked him to take me to the closest flower shop.
"I'll only be one minute. Wait here please." I told the taxi driver. I darted in the shop, And Bought one single purple hibiscus flower, along with a bouquet of red roses, I requested for the roses to be delivered in two days to Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. Then I got back in the taxi, checked my watch to see how I was on time.
I paid and tipped the driver, then headed upstairs to pick up Alexis. I Checked my appearance in the hall way mirror, then proceeded to knock on our door. She answered the door and smiled at me, I felt warmth run through my veins. She looks so beautiful. she was wearing a black and floral print dress that fell just above her knees, Needless to say her legs were looking great. She had added a lose blue jean vest and a gold necklace to her outfit. And just standing next to her made my heart leap for joy. And my palms slightly clammy. "Hey, gorgeous. Are you ready to go?"

He held out his arm for me, I blushed as I hooked my left arm in his right arm. He handed me a purple hibiscus flower, I took it and smiled. "I'm ready. You look handsome." He smiled back at me as he shut the hotel room door, and walked in step with me. We stepped out side and James' hailed a taxi for us. He opened the taxi door for me, I thanked him and got in. James got in the passengers seat. I looked out the window as we drove down a street, with Mickey Mouse shaped signs. "James? Where are we- Wait! Downtown disney?! You took me to Disneyland!! Oh my gosh!" I let out a little sequel of happiness. "I've always wanted to come here! Thank you!" He chuckled "I'm glad you're so happy. I've always loved disneyland, ever since I came here once, with my mom and dad when I was a little boy." I smiled from ear to ear in amazement. "That's awesome, James. Wow, I can't believe I'm really here!" The taxi dropped us off and James held my hand, as we walked through downtown disney until we reached the rainforest cafe. We didn't have to wait in the long line, since James had already made reservations. We sat down and I smiled at the jungle decorated and robotic animals. "Thanks, for taking me to this restaurant I just love the family friendly feeling, and the Isolated feeling It portrays." I stated glancing around to take in the scenery some more. James smiled and held my hand across the table. "I'm glad you're enjoying yourself"
Our waitress came to take our beverage orders, but James was ready with his order so he ordered his meal along with his drink. I ordered myself a water just as James had, but unlike him I wasn't ready to order yet. I hadn't even looked at the menu. "I'm sorry, could you please give me a few minutes, to decide." I politely asked the waitress. She smiled and went to put our drinks in.
I'm positive I burned legit holes through the menu from staring at it so long. Everything looked so good I couldn't decide. James watched me begin to get flustered, he chuckled and laid the menu on the table. "Okay, since you can't decide, here's what you can do: close your eyes and draw circles in the air, towards your menu and count to twelve. The second you reach twelve, open your eyes and wherever your finger stopped that's what you'll order." I raised an eyebrow at his suggestion, shrugged and succumbed to the idea then counted to twelve. When I opened my eyes to see what I'd be ordering, I was disappointed to see I had chosen Mac' n cheese from the kids menu.
