But he was faster he was able to tackle me to the ground. He then turned me onto my back straddling my side with his legs, and firm grip on my arms. He shook me repeatedly screaming at me “WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? WILL YOU EVER LEARN?” He then held my one arm down and with the other arm he repeatedly punched me in the face.Tears of pain rolled down my cheeks. Larry was relentless he wouldn’t stop until Margret pulled him off me.

She then reamed him out “IDIOT, NOW I HAVE TO CAKE ON MORE MAKE UP TO COVER UP THE DAMAGE YOU CAUSED.” Larry pointed his finger in her face “DON’T YOU EVER RAISE YOUR VOICE TO ME AGAIN WOMAN!!!!!!! CAKE ON MORE MAKE UP THEN DOES IT LOOK LIKE I CARE? SO YOU HAVE A LITTLE MORE WORK TO DO DEAL WITH IT.” he then slapped her and pushed her away from him. I was in complete shock I had never seen Margret or Larry argue like that. Larry then looked at me and demanded that I go inside.

I snapped back at him and scoffed “you go to jail first” he gave me a nasty look. He then grabbed my arm and shoved me towards the door. He pushed me inside, and I fell on my face. Larry kicked me until I got off the ground. “You’re going to regret ticking me off.” He told me. I gulped. “Can I regret ticking you off afterschool?” Larry glared at me “I make the rules around here.”  I gulped and waited for the beating. But I heard Margret say “school begins at 7:15am and its 6:30am. If you give her a beating now she’ll be late for school.” I looked up at them.

Margret had her hand holding Larry’s hand back. He shrugged “so? I’ll shorten the beating then you can drive her.” She spoke again “you don’t understand I still have to do her makeup and that takes time. Time I won’t have if you beat her now. After school you can beat for as long as you like” I stood there thinking ‘I don’t approve of this’. But I didn’t dare speak up I was already in enough trouble. Margret finally convinced Larry to let me off the hook. Larry stormed off. Margret smiled at me “ok. Since I saved your dairy air, you better sit still, so I can hide the fresh bruises.”

I roll my eyes “yea, whatever you only saved me for 8 hours.” She sighed “It’s better than having fresh bruises before you start the day, then you’re in pain all day.” I rolled my eyes “true, but knowing what happens when you go home is worse.” She looked annoyed “I can call Larry back in here if you like.” I shook my head “no” She nodded “ok I won’t one condition you sit still and let me put your makeup on.” I sighed “fine” I sat down on a chair and let her work her magic.

Once she was done, I grabbed the scarf and wrapped in around my neck in a cute fashionable way, just enough to cover the bruises and still look cute. As I made my way out to the car. I arrived at school and i gulped not knowing what to expect in grade 9. I took a deep breath as I walked in through the front doors. I then noticed that Margret had followed me, I turned to face her “what are you doing? Aren’t you supposed to be back at that place you call a home?” I asked. She rolled her eyes and smirked “you didn’t really think Larry would allow you to attend school unsupervised did you? I got a job here as the school janitor so I can keep an eye on you.”

I rolled my eyes “well yea I mean where is there to go? I don’t know where anything is. And no offense, but why didn’t Larry get a job instead of you?” she was giving me an annoyed look. I scratched my head and added “I mean you’re nicer than Larry. And it’s kind of ironic that you’re the janitor, because instead of me cleaning after you and Larry you’ll be cleaning up after all the kids here. Im joking by the way” not haha she has to clean toliets she cracked a smile she bought it should be an actress.

“thanks, now the reason I wouldn’t let Larry get a job was because if he got angry he would lose control and take it out on you or some other girl. Therefore giving away our cover. And we wouldn’t want that.” I nodded “ok. Well I better get my schedule and find my first class before the bell rings” Margret nodded and left me alone. I sighed then went to the office to get my schedule. My first class was in room 132. I looked down the first hall way and there were so many doors each with a different numbers on it.
