We Jumped into one of the moving chairs of the ride. Creepy music played as the ride moved facing each car towards different ghosts, and other spooky things. The ride was fine and I didn't get freaked out that much, but every time the ride froze and in a spooky voice said "ooh, looks like some ghosts are playing a prank. Please stay in your seats. The ride will begin moving momentarily." Followed by a cast member saying "ladies and gentlemen, the ride will begin moving shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience Thank you for your patience."
After a few stops, then moving along and stopping again, the crew were able to get it too finish running smoothly again. The animated ghosts and jump scares throughout the ride, didn't bother me since I didn't believe In ghosts. But for James' sake I pretended I was somewhat freaked out. I figure if I'm marrying this man, I'll tell him later that I was just pretending.
After the ride James held my hand "how was the ride? We just have two more things to do before we turn in for the night." I laughed "the ride was good, thanks. So what two more things do you have left?" He smiled "well, we are going to watch the fireworks first then head to downtown disney to eat." I rolled my eyes, smiling "you really planned everything out ahead of time." He smirked "of course I did." His expression changed into a smile "I want this trip with me to be as memorable as possible!"I smiled and my cheeks felt warm. "Well, then what are we waiting for? We got a firework show to attend." He chuckled and held out his arm for me to hook on too. "Let's get a move on then!"
We walked back to the Main Street and crowds had already gathered. It was tough just to get a spot where there wasn't someone in your view. James held my hand tight not letting go, as if I would get lost if he let go. Finally after sifting through people we found a decent spot which would give us a good view of the castle. And therefore give a good view of fireworks.
Music began and the castle began to change colour, followed by small fireworks. The music continued to play in sync with the fireworks. The villains songs was one of my favourites, because they shot up fire flare into the sky that were so hot you could feel the heat radiating from it. I also loved the emotion behind each lyric of their songs, I could really feel the hatred and rage. It's a strange part of a happy show to remember the best. But to be fair and even it out, I really enjoyed watching tinker bell zoom across the sky near the end of the show.
I squeezed James' hand, "that was fun! We should do this again sometime." He smiled "yes, for sure. We can come back tomorrow to watch the fireworks. But for now, let's go to the final stop of the night, Warrior Princess." I bit my lip suppressing a giggle.
My face warmed and I smirked at him, whilst raising an eyebrow. "Warrior princess again? If you get to call me that, I can call you.." I paused to think as we moved with the crowd to exit the park. "Passionate white knight!" He tried to stifle a laugh but failed "no way. That's a mouthful, Just call me James. Thank you for the thought though." I pouted then rolled my eyes
"Fine, then you can only nickname me 'princess' cut out the whole warrior bit." He pulled the puppy dog eyes on me "but-but warrior princess fits perfectly." I rolled my eyes with a smile, "okay, passionate white knight, let's just head to the next destination. By the way where are we going?" He rolled his eyes and placed his index finger over his mouth. "It's a surprise, princess."
I shook my head "fine. Be stubborn." He nodded and wrapped his arm around my waist, as we exited the park and went straight into downtown disney.

After fifteen minutes or so, we had been seated in "Ralph Brennan's jazz kitchen" James excused him self for a moment. I nodded and straightened out my napkin as I waited for him. The waiter came and took down our drink orders, I order us water to start. The waiter left and I felt something tossed at the back of my head. I reached behind me and found a napkin, confused i stared at it blankly. Then I noticed on the opposite side of the napkin there was a broken heart drawn roughly with blue ink.
